Yours, IIRC, is in the US, of which the 218.111 is good at.

My WEBUI is located in US. I got no headache with this 218.111 all the time....

Ok, I got my 4mb account registered on Feb sync with 218.111 after email to TM NOC just less than 12hr ago...( NOt TM CSR or Call 100 )

To b honest, so far only I saw MX518 was the one complaining abt the 218.111. maybe this 218.111 slow to this flux server. but my average speed to this IP's has lower ping , better routing so I can play CS/MMORPG. Beside than, my WEBUI and WEBHOSTING (ThePlanet Hosting in dallas) both has greater latency, and speed.

After sept 2009, this 218.111 IP's was 'fakap' after TM cap youtube with this IP. But overall, this IP still better latency and speed until today.

Yes, u are right... 218.111 cant get good speed from 4shared.com capped i think..

When I use my PROXY. i get full speed..

He use this own Flux server la..

While I got MU prem full speed biggrin.gif

Nowadays no more 218.111 for 4mbps user.... so by the time lesser ppl use this IP hopefully they unthottle utube.
my youtube from 1am sharp will get good speed.
the lesser ppl use.. i more happy... bcoz all 218.111 no longer available for 4mb user biggrin.gif

call TM and tell them cap u 5Mbps enough ald.. then problem solved.

Very easy only... call TM 100
tell them u got DC all the time.

Tell them your line is capped 22Mbps...
tell them u want to make a report... ( is a MUST)

then 2molo the tech will do and configure the port to 4mb. (in this case, they wont come your hse or call u )

call the installer cap DL 5mbps in the line for u..
then u get 4mbps. full speed.

your SNR margin and Line attenuation is good for me..

when the tech call u.. make u ask for his name n tel no...
and check the DL - make sure is 4Mbps or 5Mbps instead of 22Mbps..

and SNR margin must be > 20db.

seem like "Line Attenuation" = 4.0 is a bug or problem with the port.. i am not sure...
normally > 20db..... 4db is too low....

and when I do the speedtest for u.. u get some timeout...

Yes. cap higher u will DC..

But tell them u got high SNR margin.. so u say " I am confident if u cap 5mb my line will 100% stable )

Another way to cap your 5mb is

Call TM, make a slow report, TM tech will call u to check what is your problem..
tell the tech u wan cap 5mb and give him duit kopi... = SETTLE.

(btw, not all tech can cap 5mb. bcoz some tech got no authority to do tat.)

I got 2 frds + me... capped 5mb..
most effective way also give some duit kopi... haha

my frd 5mbps capped but can get 4.5Mbps.

I would say 218.111 is the best IP in term of latency...
China,Jp,KR, TW can get 100-150ms.. How i know ? I am CS players... can play with China server with 100ms, Japan server and etc...
218.111 ^.^

Speed ? depend on routing...
