I won't buy it when they first hit Malaysia market, I will wait till year end then only buy. Atleast it will be cheaper.
And I second to smokey's statements. Just to add abit, it will get scratched easily.

Not worth to try it out now as their price still high. Unless you can buy from SIngapore which is slightly cheaper. Someone is selling for rm4300. But if you can nego till rm4000 that's good.

Technically, both of them got pros and cons
P90, using PCM1704 as DAC, same as what you can find on F#1(but using K grade) and using Toshiba DSP P99, using AKM DAC and Analog Device's Sharc DSP(If I'm not wrong), which can be seen on ODR. Want compressed formats, P99 is good but if still listening to ori CDS, P90 will be great. I'm using P9 combo with CD-UB100 for compressed formats, so far so good. |

If just the Hu only without adding amp, yes. Can try out the sales section, got a nice chap selling Pioneer HUs with warranty.

Don't worry much on water set.... Anyway if you want to DIY, make sure you have a multimeter on s/by and remember your old HU's wiring.
As for which wire is which, check on your installation manual. |
