"E" icon on iphone, Need some advice

Hi everyone..
I found that there is a "E" icon on my iphone.. I had disabled the 3G on my iphone.. Then the icon change from "3G" to "E".. And i found that it drain battery quite fast.. Is it a normal issue to iphone? Need some advice.. Thanks.. |

ok... But when i try use safari to online after i turned off the 3G and WiFi.. It works...
Means that it's charging me... Is there anyway i can disable the EDGE and use WiFi connection only? Thanks.. |
