Put me in 2.0 SX list also (White/Red/Bronze). Already booked at Naza HQ on Wednesday before the official launch at Pavilion. Paid RM1000 for booking & I saw they key-in my booking into their system by myself. Also got official receipt that stated - PAYMENT: BOOKING FEE , VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: NAZA FORTE (CBU) 2.0 SX. So confirmed I will get the CBU one. If not I will sue them..hehe

QUOTE(leongwk15 @ Nov 28 2009, 06:37 PM) According to SA, the CBU is already finished booking. Any booking now for 1.6cc will get CKD which will deliver in 3 to 4 months time. All CBU car will be registered this year 2009 and not 2010, even deliver next year. NAZA has only brought in 500 CBU units, (1.6cc - 300 units and 2.0cc - 200 units). Our government rejected the selling price of RM93K which is too low for the 2.0cc CBU. NAZA has to return the CBU back to Korea. In order to sell at RM93K they are working on CKD unit for 2.0cc. It is confirm that the 2.0cc will be CKD only. As I said before, my booking fee's official receipt from NAZA clearly stated my vehicle description as NAZA FORTE (CBU) 2.0 SX. I dont think NAZA has a guts to lie to their customers by delivering a CKD unit since that their own official receipt clearly mentioning that it is indeed a CBU unit. For those who already paid the booking fee, kindly give us some feedback here whether your official receipt from NAZA clearly stated the vehicle description as a CBU unit or not? QUOTE(vin07 @ Dec 1 2009, 04:02 PM) Anyone out there already got their 2.0sx? i heard that the price of RM93000 is not true. There will be increase of price next year, who already book will also effected cos there is small term & condition in booking form, naza have the right to do price adjustment??? My friend just told me just now during the visit to show room. Still no news about my 2.0SX. Got no car already..just sold my car today..hopefully dont have to wait so long for my Forte to be delivered..haihhAbout Forte price hike..I dont think that Naza will simply increase it, at least to those who already booked & have submitted loan application for their car. Or else it will effect the loan. Some of us already got their loan approved with the current price. I'm quite sure that Naza will not create such a mess to their customers. For me, the proper way to do is, Naza should first announce the new price & whoever book or buy the car after the announcement has been made will pay for the new price & for those who book or buy before the announcement will still enjoy the old lower price. Is there any matching 2.0 emblem for Forte??..hehe. I noticed that Forte 2.0 exterior looks no different from the 1.6SX. So nothing to proud of for Forte 2.0 owner right? If got 2.0 emblem, can stick with SX emblem at the back of the car & becoming Forte 2.0 SX

QUOTE(samforte @ Dec 7 2009, 12:46 PM) Yeah bro i agree with u ! Maybe want to downgrade to 16 '' but worry no more warranty on that part ! Forte SX uses 215/45 tire on 17" rim. I'm also considering to change to 16" rim, perhaps with 205/55 tire to increase ride comfort & to minimize the effect on my speedometer reading. Hopefully the FC will be lower too |

QUOTE(yhlee12 @ Dec 7 2009, 02:07 PM) actually i noticed that there's not much difference in the price of 205/55R16 & 215/45R17. Agreed. For me, the main purpose of changing to 205/55R16 is to further enhance ride comfort since my test drive revealed that the ride is quite stiff to my liking17 inch tyres definitely more expensive, but not by such a big margin compared to 16 inch ones. |

QUOTE(kennyphan @ Dec 7 2009, 04:59 PM) May I know anyone interest to get special Forte emblem like this source: Link There are very easy way to remove the Naza emblem and replace with this Forte Emblem. I want to make it different instead of KIA where Naza will claim that NO KIA FORTE on the road. |

QUOTE(limeuu @ Dec 7 2009, 05:57 PM) the slot is NOT useless........it works on the principle of inductive powering of the rfid chip in the remote, so that it can then transmit the unique code to start the engine........just like the 'ticket card' of the spore mrt....... This explanation sounds better |

QUOTE(julz76 @ Dec 8 2009, 07:48 PM) Julz here reporting.. Congrat julz. Me..have to wait for my 2.0SX to arrive at our shore..dont know when though..Collected my brand-new Forte from dealer n left at 6.45pm. 1st pit stop..Caltex to fill her up as it was _ _ _ _km to empty. Filled RM78 and it was then up to 532km to empty. Released tyre pressure (was almost 300kPa) and filled to 220kPa as advised by Kia Malaysia. FYI, my Kia friend asked me to spread the word that "stockyard pressure is to avoid flatspots". 2nd Pit Stop, at mum's house to pick my wife and baby for their 1st ride home to Shah Alam... p/s: Was given my registration card and AP cert copy by my SA. Confirmed "Made in the land of Kim-chi"! |
