QUOTE(bbear @ Dec 13 2009, 10:57 PM) Yes, sounded like Hollow barrel which like Groong Groong Groong... AFAIK, for this Groong Groong Groong (hollow) noise, uneven (but uniform pattern) road is the main culprit not the tyre itself (since that the tyre is still new). i.e. if u driving at Kedah/Perlis (rural road usually), u will always ending up facing this kind of sound suddenly coming from out of now where. Upon close check up, u will immediately noticed that the road was uniformly uneven. This type of uneven road i suspect is due to the paddy harvester (or other heavy machinery that use steel chain to move around) using that road during paddy harvesting season. Since that paddy harvester are quite heavy & use steel chain to move, the steel chain will leave an uneven but uniformly trace on the road. So when other vehicle use that road, the Groong Groong Groong sound will exist. I wonder if changing to 16" will ease out the noisy cabin sound or not. Tyre noise also might exist if the tyre surface is uneven due to damaged shock absorber, but i dont think that the Forte's shock absorber already kong since it is still new & the tyre also new one. I suggest you to test drive the Forte again using different route or on newly resurface road to reconfirm the noise. I have test drove Forte 3 time (EX & SX), the ride are so quiet to my surprise. No annoying sound whatsoever |

QUOTE(bbear @ Dec 16 2009, 03:01 PM) If only they have something more useful on the updates in the FB.. e.g. a finite weeks or dates on when the 2.0SX can be available rather than kept saying 90-120 days ( is that including early booked customers ? or only new customers ? early booked customer waiting time = 90-120 days + prebook ~ launching days ? ) Well said bro. Why till now they cannot come up with the exact date (or week) when the 2.0 can be delivered at least for early customers who booked the 2.0 before the official launching event? We 2.0 buyers (especially pre-launch buyers) blindly booked the car without seeing the car itself & put so much faith on NAZA and Forte. But sadly NAZA leaves us into so much uncertainties & leaves us speechless. With so many rumours about the 2.0 availability, again we 2.0 buyers are left clueless. At least by officially announce when the 2.0 can be delivered i.e by 2nd week of January 2010, definitely will ease the burden of waiting in uncertainty for 2.0 buyers. Having said that, i must say that NAZA already failed in term of customer relationships.Me..still hold to my SA promise when i booked the 2.0 Forte (before official launch), that i can get my car by middle of January 2010. To NAZA, hopefully u can treat your SA promise to my expectation..... This post has been edited by izputra: Dec 16 2009, 04:44 PM |

QUOTE(shamsul_LP @ Dec 17 2009, 04:34 PM) Cannot la bro sham. i desperately need the cruise control function on 2.0SX since that i travel outstation a lot. By using auto-cruising function, my right leg hopefully will not 'lenguh2' after the long journey & might save some fuel (by cruising at a moderate & constant speed)...just beware not to fall asleep when using that function because u just hold to the steering only..hehe This post has been edited by izputra: Dec 17 2009, 05:08 PM |
