yes this car is cool, and with the cheap price, def would be able to beat honda and toyota. 

however, it has a very strong competitor-mazda 2.

Guys, do the 2.0SX has the electric retractable side mirror?

There’s actually a key in this remote, check it out and this key is for emergency case like your remote is out of battery so you can’t enter the car, so you need to use the key to open your High tech NAZA KIA Forte, then use the charging dock to charge it before you start the engine! Coz you need batt in the remote for you to start your car too, if not it will not able to detect your remote key!

If you want to wait, there will be 4 model releasing next year from KIA. One of them might be KIA Forte Koup and KIA K7 (very ying car but not cheap la…)

Dear all Forte Kakis, i have been following this thread everyday (from the old one to the new) since early October and this is the first time i posted cos just booked a 1.6SX Titanium Silver yesterday. If anyone of you from Penang would like to get the CBU unit in 2 weeks time, please go to Macalister Road Kia Sales Branch (next to Gee Heang biscuits shop). I have spoken to the Penang Branch Manager (Linda) and according to her can still get CBU unit if you pay 10% asap cos there are only 3 allocated units (including mine) at the moment for this branch. They need the 10% (not RM1k booking fee) in order to allocate a unit for you. The branch manager told me that i can get my car in 2 weeks time.

BTW, i did highlight to her that the 2yrs warranty is a bit short and she agrees and will be checking for me on monday to see if we can extend to 5yrs with an additional RM600-700 insurance coverage (this is what they did for Rondo, Spectra5, etc). The coverage for the extension is just like the first 2yrs, meaning whatever is covered under the initial 2yrs warranty will be extended to another 3 yrs. I will update you all once i hear from her on monday as we need to purchase the insurance upon car registration accordingly to her.

my SA don't even bank in my check..
i ask him to return to me once the car allocated.
and i gave him promised that my cash is ready and loan is under process (which is true).
so we have mutual of understanding to each other and proceeding professionally.

yes.. i heard some of them paid the downpayment to Naza.

this is the same story i got last week, which is why i paid the 10% dpayment last week itself... n now i'm stuck with my loan application... 
u only need to pay balance of the settlement when the car is ready for delivery. for them to allocate the car to u, 10% of car price.

tentatively early next week. hopefully either monday or tuesday.
gave SA the car toto number yesterday but he said need to wait for cheque to clear 1st before they proceed with the registration.

i tried 3 test for pressing twice continusoly and the enigine shut down.... from what u said..; i only can conclude one thing.... the forte seems like don't have standard programmed features, as my experience is press twice  off engine, rev until 100km/h, the door not auto lock (few claims got)....

a bit worry that we will get those consider 'bad' setting forte....

can't see the pic lah...

haih... just wait blindly like me la.... who's know?? there are miracle?? where we can get our car by DEC???
