then let's wait and see.coz naza's service actually is worse thn proton in overall

btw any indication tht naza will bring in the koup next year?
*
thats our hope everything will change arr..
dunno bout koup, but SA in puchong said that they will bring somewhere mid year 2010.

then in press (in motortrader), NAZA ceo mention they will bring c-segment sportscar to our land (the only kia have is forte koup)..

got some board in puchong showroom with future model to be brought. next is koup. then there is kia soul also..

quote from saimatkong blog

QUOTE
There’s actually a key in this remote, check it out and this key is for emergency case like your remote is out of battery so you can’t enter the car, so you need to use the key to open your High tech NAZA KIA Forte, then use the charging dock to charge it before you start the engine! Coz you need batt in the remote for you to start your car too, if not it will not able to detect your remote key!

need to check whether this is true

QUOTE
If you want to wait, there will be 4 model releasing next year from KIA. One of them might be KIA Forte Koup and KIA K7 (very ying car but not cheap la…)

K7? seriously?

SOS

quote from biz thestar

QUOTE
Group executive chairman SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin said the new models would be replacements of the Sportage and Sorento multi-purpose vehicles, the all-new Kia Soul and a Forte coupe model.

same like SA puchong said, new model line up will be koup --> Soul --> got lots of model more (K7 maybe?? brows.gif )

hello all.
just a quick update, for those who has booking earlier, please check with your SA.
coz my SA just call me now (puchong branch) that i've to make full payment or else the stock allocated before will be released.

there is change in direction for stock allocation. you need to settle the downpayment.

i need to settle by today. previously i plan to go for test drive + settle payment on tomorrow. but guess need to speed things up by today.

better you all check with your own SA. cursed them if necessary cool2.gif

this is really bullshit from Naza...
why need to pay 10% only can allocate the car?? because it's hot?
i never see any other brand doing this for "car allocation procedure"
even P1 and P2. ridiculous move!
*
yeap. bullcrappp. once i heard it i wanna turn hulk already.
the SA give some lame excuse said that the booking now over 500 something.

i guess this is just a pressure from their crony. maybe the boss relatives want the car badly and they need to allocate for them.
this is just my wild accuse. but who knows right? it just dont make any sensee

QUOTE(4te @ Nov 29 2009, 04:13 PM)
Dear all Forte Kakis, i have been following this thread everyday (from the old one to the new) since early October and this is the first time i posted cos just booked a 1.6SX Titanium Silver yesterday. If anyone of you from Penang would like to get the CBU unit in 2 weeks time, please go to Macalister Road Kia Sales Branch (next to Gee Heang biscuits shop). I have spoken to the Penang Branch Manager (Linda) and according to her can still get CBU unit if you pay 10% asap cos there are only 3 allocated units (including mine) at the moment for this branch. They need the 10% (not RM1k booking fee) in order to allocate a unit for you. The branch manager told me that i can get my car in 2 weeks time.

BTW, i did highlight to her that the 2yrs warranty is a bit short and she agrees and will be checking for me on monday to see if we can extend to 5yrs with an additional RM600-700 insurance coverage (this is what they did for Rondo, Spectra5, etc). The coverage for the extension is just like the first 2yrs, meaning whatever is covered under the initial 2yrs warranty will be extended to another 3 yrs. I will update you all once i hear from her on monday as we need to purchase the insurance upon car registration accordingly to her.

my SA don't even bank in my check..
i ask him to return to me once the car allocated.
and i gave him promised that my cash is ready and loan is under process (which is true).
so we have mutual of understanding to each other and proceeding professionally.

yes.. i heard some of them paid the downpayment to Naza.
*
yes. i also have mutual understanding with SA. but the problem lies with their manager.
the manager want to release the stock for others. if your SA could not help then not much we could hope coz they also got somebody to report.

i'll rant at kia facebook later. but i just dont want to miss the allocated car for me.

this is the same story i got last week, which is why i paid the 10% dpayment last week itself... n now i'm stuck with my loan application...  vmad.gif
u only need to pay balance of the settlement when the car is ready for delivery. for them to allocate the car to u, 10% of car price.
*
my case is car has been allocated before(booking + loan approved), pending for remaining dpayment. but now different things already (need 10% dpayment also).
if not, my SA wont call to tell the new procedure. then give me until 5.30pm to settle or else he could not promise can hold the car or not (mutual agreement to pay by tomorrow)

phew.. i got no internet for 2 days.. and the page already 10 plus for me to read.

i've test drove the car. as i drive my gf vios frequently, what i can say that the pickup is okay. no lag for me. for those drive 2.0 car before, of course you will claim the pickup is slow.

for those who want to install KIA oem alarm, the price is about rm600.
but must install at KIA service center. they can integrate the alarm with the keyless remote.

and for the Start/Stop button. it's not 2 times la. i've tested it. if you press the button 3 times at one row then the engine will stop.
i already test. press 2 times nothing happen. if you press 1 with interval 1 or 2 seconds after that, you press another one, then after that press another one. nuthing happen.

but if press 1,2,3 the engine will stop.

i tried 3 test for pressing twice continusoly and the enigine shut down.... from what u said..; i only can conclude one thing.... the forte seems like don't have standard programmed features, as my experience is press twice  off engine, rev until 100km/h, the door not auto lock (few claims got)....

a bit worry that we will get those consider 'bad' setting forte....
*
might be lar. i test at puchong by the way. i press 2 times continously and nothing happen.
door autolock i didn't notice.

for 1.6SX, who wanna join for FC test?
its best if you could state your brand preference so that we could observer which brand and RON that give best FC.

coz i've survey in internet and mostly (in general) said that for RON95, caltex and BHP gives more km and power. 2nd is esso. 3rd is petronas and lastly shell.

for those who asking on ECU unit.
the answer is YES. the ecu is located besides the engine (something like 3.5" harddisk). and the engine heat wont affect the ECU

the drawback is, if there is water on the road.. way above your heels (buku lali) level. it is advisable not to going pass them.
it might cause the ECU problem later (although it has been sealed).

i'm not sure how far this is true. but my SA said this to me.
