Yeap. It have more bass compared to 668b. However 660 without amp sounds ..ermm...smth like hollow coz the mids are laid back giving the impression of a very wide stage. This cans are very good for vocal though. Eargasm listening to vocal songs but not so good for some genres that not compatible with wide stage. Decay is shorter than 668b making the effects in 660 like drum beats sounds very tight which I like it. Do you think so too?

you can listen bit during each interval maybe at beginning of marathon, 50 hours, 80 hours and 100+ hours to hear the diff

But with bad DAC such as onboard soundcard will make the 668B sounds really bad due to fact that it's a monitoring headphone which will detect every flaw that the onboard has.

Yeah that's true, it depends on how well your mp3 player/source can drive it.
You could try with your zune and hear it out first but remember burn in and listen to the diff
but bro, ur getting the 681 rite? that should be sufficient to drive in any source, the ones that needs better amping would be the 668B and others which has higher ohm/impedance

681 should be ok, cos it's rated at 32ohm which most mp3 players now come with this
but maybe different for computer sound cards

660 is v shaped. I think both of us highlighted most of the differences in previous pages. There are ppl actually prefer 660 more than 668b

Nop. Superlux got alooooot more models. They infact dont only focus in headphones. They do karaoke, recording, speakers, amps, mixer and etc.
But I found it hard to source for it plus there is no market in msia for that. Non audiophiles prefer brands like sonic hears, altec, sony, phillips and etc. Audiophiles prefer brands...well i think you should already know.

I might bring in other models, if there is a market established in msia that has demands for it.
