I think it'll stress your hair out. Opt for either the mask or the conditioner. @___@

the correct way is, shampoo, mask/treatment then conditioner =)
shampoo is to soften our hair, to let the vitamin and protein of treatment easier to absorb to our hair and conditioner is lock the vitamin and protein in our hair.

Treatment after conditioner is useless =.=

Yeah, but the Body Shop hair mask I used last year specifically stated AFTER conditioning. Maybe it's best if we just followed the instructions on the label of every individual product then?

Why not shampoo, hair mask and rinse? What's the point of using conditioner after using your hair mask?

actually its sufficient to just use shampoo, then mask. Conditioner after mask is optional, it helps to lock the nutrient from the mask. These are quoted from 'Lady First' smile.gif

Dirt and impurities regularly accumulate on our hair and create a layer around the root of the hair that makes it difficult to see nutrients and moisture within. Since the primary objective of a hair mask is to replenish the lost moisture and restore damage, before any other product application, it is extremely necessary to thoroughly cleanse the hair and eliminate all traces of dirt and sebum. Individuals who prefer several styling procedures often have product build-ups that need to be reduced to get the best results from a hair mask. A clarifying shampoo works really well in giving squeaky clean hair. Squeeze out the excess moisture from hair and let it air dry. Now, comes the right time to apply the hair mask...!!

usually just pick either one, some people hv sensitive hair like mine it would make our hair very hard to dry off and need to use correct hair dryer so it wont make our hair brittle

Different products have different functions and usage... Best is to follow the instructions of the product...

But generally is shampoo > conditioner
