nowadays speed is fair but ping is terrible...

I got ping of around 1000ms before..

Anyway the last time got technician came my house to check on my complaint, after collecting some data he went home.. Until now no other action...
But luckily the speed is fine since then, no more frequent disconnection...
Just very bad ping...
Anyway satisfied for now cuz no time to complaint cuz busy with upcoming exam..

I'm only satisfied with P1 before I reach my monthly usage..
Cuz after reaching the monthly threshold, it's so slow and unstable(impossible to chat online).
Summore my monthly threshold only 5GB, a normal person who don't download stuff but just normal surfing will use up 5GB in 20 days la..
I realli hope P1 will increase the download threshold..

P1 Modem can't receive signal if block by an object be it a human standing infront of it, a close window, a wooden door, a thin piece of wall...

Means it need to have no obstruction between the modem and the base station, that's why it's so hard to get good signal... Unless they set up more base station..

Since 2 days ago I got super slow internet connection, it took me several minutes just to open www.google.com

P1 faster solve it, I subscribe to P1 but ended up going to Cyber Cafe just to post this complaint...
and ever since I use P1 W1MAX, I can't use Win Live Msgr anymore

LOL.. I don't know how many evening have passed..
I understand that I've exceeded the fair usage threshold but is this the way P1 punish users who exceeded fair usage threshold by making them impossible to access internet??

I've been experiencing alot of Disconnection lately(like once every 15 minutes), I need to reboot the modem in order to get back the connection.

And I've also been experiencing super slow connection speed, only during morning around 8am till evening around 3pm that I'm able to use with smooth speed(but with the mentioned disconnections)

I've checked my fair usage threshold on my self care account and I haven't exceeded it yet.

I've tried calling the call center but no one pick up and wasted so much of my hp credit, I even left a message when asked to do so but no one called me back.

I've posted here a couple of times previously but it seems no one contact me, so P1 rep, are you ignoring me just because I'm complaining too many times??

Cuz sometimes when the RSSI worsen but CINR improves while sometimes RSSI improve but CINR worsen when I switch location..

Yosh P1 Rep!

Just curious, my connection speed is fairly acceptable so I have no intention to complain about that.

However may I know why sometimes my connection can time-out?

This means that I check the modem status at http://10.1.1.254/login.php it shows the modem connection is GREEN,
then I look at my modem, also stable GREEN light..
But no internet connection, so I reboot it then its fine already,
but after few minutes suddenly no more connection again although light still showing GREEN..

Although this don't happen whole day but when it starts happening it's quite annoying to keep rebooting the modem..

May I know why? Is it due to base station can't support too many so connection terputus-putus?

Or do u need my account num so I have to wait for a technician to call me up to enquire about my prob?

Another question, is the IPv4 setting for P1 connection still unchange at

Hi there, I'm currently experiencing it again, sudden connection lost eventhough the green light on my modem remain stable.... The time now is almost noon.. I'm gonna continue to monitor it tonight to see whether this continues...

Refering to previous case.... Sometimes it still happens, sudden DC although stable green light... Day night, anytime... It don't happen alot but just maybe around once in 2 days it happen once...

but just a couple moments ago(according to the time now) it happen again quite a number of time consecutively so I rebooted quite a few times consecutively already...

Hye there, remember the case where I experience sudden disconnection even though the modem still stable green light?

I'm experiencing it again... the time now is 1.36 am... This time I'm testing it in an landed property, so don't tell me about best effort etc..

Although I might be busy for the next few days but I still insist of reporting this problem to you... Hope to get your feedback, thanks smile.gif

I've been enjoying satisfying broadband from P1 for the past couple of months, before that I always experience problem and always reported them here lots of time too. I've glad that no such problems arise for the past couple of months.

However since a couple days ago till now, I realized the speed is getting quite slow at night even after midnight, ping is quite high too.

I'm using the basic RM49 plan living at Sunway area, I think people at P1 should investigate this as maybe something wrong with the towers? Take note that before this I did enjoy satisfying services, only till lately. Don't tell me all of a sudden more people are using P1 in sunway so tower can't support.

Using DS300 modem, I wanna port forward to a local game server, I have the server's IP no. but dunno what to do with it..

I'm currently on the RM49 package, connection at night only stable enuf for normal surfing but not for gaming. So i was thinking whether getting the free wiggy promotion can solve the problem(since the wiggy's speed will be faster than my RM49 package speed)..

another thing is my TX Power jumps up and down.. One second its around 3~6, then next second jump up to around 15~19..

that's the problem, they always use this way to solve the problem.. "we're sorry, we'll waive this month's bill" is the answer they always tell me when they call me up.. this kind of solution don't increase customer's confidence towards the business.

its almost 5am now, my modem showing orange light, TX Power still jumping around but now at higher value and rarely drop below 15.. and honestly I'd prefer this stably slow connection altho orange light & slow rather than full green light with TX Power jumping up and down with super slow and unstable connection..

Can I make sure it stays like this? Cuz this orange light connection is better than full green light..

okay it went back to being slow and unstable...
it seems that it bcome slower and more unstable when my TX Power drop very low, and it's a bit faster when my TX Power is higher.. acc num 101672459
