As for the link, an exotic pet business that concentrates on reptiles is a business of passion. It's catered for the those who is willing to go the distance to learn and acquire knowledge. Those who are totally money oriented will not last. This has been proven again and again in the last 10 years I am in this hobby. The ones that are still standing now (and growing stronger) are those who are motivated by something else other than monetary. It is called passion (or obsession; maybe both). Only then you would be able to find the strength to continue further with whatever resources you tend to have or find.

No matter how hard you work to promote this hobby as a business, at end of the day, it is still considered as a hobby. Therefore, if it is solely money you seek, then this business is not for you to venture. But if it is gratification, knowledge and experience, then I would say that it will definitely be worth to venture. The money that comes along the way is just bonus.

While you may think it is easy and profitable, not unless you dive into one, you will never know how hard it is to excell in such as a business with a very niche market. But then again, everything good in life never comes easy.

For sure bro. By the way, I just checked my statistix this morning and found out that TGS had broke her own record in terms of viewers. She went from a few hundreds viewers per day to a few thousands. Thank you MHI!!!

So, I broke my sales' record on Sunday (It used to be a 4 figure mark. Now it's more than that.) and TGS broke her ratings on Monday. And I am almost out of animals to sell. Life as a gecko breeder can't get any better than this. Eventhough my feet hurt due to long standing hours cleaning and maintaining them, I am happy

I got almost 100 emails from yesterday alone, ranging from genuine buyers to super stupid ball bangers (eg. trying to sell to me a 300g tokay gecko for RM80,000 because in the market he heard that it can be sold off for RM200,000 each). If you can find a buyer for RM200,000, then why the fuc.k you want to sell me for RM80,000?!

I will filter all the stupid fuc.ks and start replying the genuine ones.

Plus, I find the reporter attractive. I need to start collecting her too. That's the best part

p.s. Who says geckos are going down while snakes are going up? My stats are actually showing the opposite, whether from Malaysia or otherwise. GECKOS ARE GOING UP, I SH1T YOU NOT!

I would recommend established ones, regardless of their mutations. The price however would depend on various factors. For an example, newer mutations cost more than older ones.

Do read up the articles I have written in my web. Apart from that do find and read other resources available in the internet. This forum is also a good start.

Anyway, there will be one more segment for the local media (tv) and another article in a local paper. After that, TGS is going global, specifically Germany and Taiwan. I am not sure what's next after that. Seriously, penat and pening siot!!!

Company bodoh gila tapi price melonjak macam bangang based on rumors. Then when the time is right, semua sekali yang kononnya nak "buy high and sell higher + bonus" terus mampus. Dear all, The Gecko Shop (TGS) will be participating in the upcoming Pet Expo Malaysia 2010 located at the Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (MVEC) starting from 25 to 27 June 2010.
