Q: Is there any region lock for online MultiPlayer?
A: No, Mp is region free.

Q: How to join MultiPlayer Online game?
A: Select Multiplayer. then select PLAY ONLINE. Select FIND GAME. Choose the type of game match and it will start searching for players.

Q: How to join MultiPlayer Online game with Clan/LYN players?
A: Add MW2 players PSN ID to your friendlist. To join in their multiplayer match online, select PLAY ONLINE and then select INVITE. Scroll thru your friendlists who are playing MW2 and select: Join Session to join their match.

LYN MODERN WARFARE 2 CLAN WARS ROUND 1

Rules and Regulations

Teams/Members.
a) Each team must have 8 members only but 6 will be played during match.
b) Minimum player to be played during match is 5 people only. If the Clan doesn't have enough people, they will be disqualified.
c) Each Clan leader must confirm their games which team members via PM etc.

Take Note:
If a match fail to take place on a scheduled time, please inform the clan leaders to set for another date/time. Maybe we can forfeit the clan (which fail to turn up after a reschedule) with a minus points and add a point to the other clan that's ready for the match.
For example: If Clan A failed to turn up for a match after a reschedule, they will be forfeited with a minus points. Even if they have won a match with another clan team (A)4-3(B). They will lose a point while Clan B will gain a point which makes Clan B the winner (A)3-4(B).


Format
Below are the league format that we're using:LYN Modern Warfare 2 Clan War Round 1

Maps & Modes
a) Each match will consist of 6 games.
b) Each team will host 3 games.
c) No spectators allowed.
d) No Tactical Nuke allowed. Team that uses it will be forfeited hence the other team will be the winner of the match.

Players
a) 6 vs 6
b) Match will proceed as normal if team has not enough players by the time match commences (minimum 5 Players)
c) Players who have played for a particular team in the tourney, will not be allowed to play for another team. Players caught playing for two teams will result in both teams will be disqualified. Squad leaders, please ensure the respective team leaders are in your Friend's list. Also, please make sure you have your 6 team members selected.

Others
1) No devices like FragFX or converter is allowed. Only original PS3 controllers.
2) Players found using any cheat devices or hack(eg. rapid fire) will cause disqualification to the team.
3) Cannot swap/transfer players after the registration.

Tips and Tricks

* Getting most XP in an MP game ,even if you have less kills , or more death: [credit pakcikkantin]
1. do challenges.
2. Headshot, if cannot, shoot enemies leg, and execute him
3. Stay alive ( You will get the "Longest Life" match bonus)
4. Unlock unknown weapons, like Shotgun. Why ? 10 kills of Weapon challenges, can give you extra 700XP.

* The match type that give the most(i think) experience (XP Points) is no other than Demolition. [credit busbos]

Hey guys, this is just a suggestion. Forumer PH-MIO and myself was wondering if any of you would like to have MW2 practice session [Private Match] everyday or alternate days @ 9pm for noobs like myself n others so that we can train and be better in MP.

Do list your name if you would like to practice with us on a daily basis. Of course the high level ranking guys can join us and teach us too.

Anyway, add your PSN-ID to the name list below. Session will last for 1 - 1 1/2 hrs and then you guys can proceed to MP.

*Maybe later some of you can form a clan and choose a leader. Btw, headset is required for this practice session.

Everyone would like to level up and i understand why it is important, but given many of us don't have the skill like you pros out there. We are new [noobs] and that why we need practice. Leveling, everyone can level up till they reach Prestige ranking but there's no tactics and skills, what's the use of having that title right?

One reason i dislike playing MP because most or many have one goal. To level up and yes, we get all the goodies but if one can play at the lowest level and nail those high rankings and die less, that's what i call a good and smart players. Seriously, i die in the battle field more than getting kill shots. You can ask bestdo or those who played with me..hahhaha. Btw, i had some practice session with bestdo and some super pros here just now and it was great. These guys are really good.

I do agree that we can gather 12 peeps and start a match [not private] and lvl up fast till prestige rank. Another easy way to lvl/rank up.

Anyway, if this practice session [only a suggestion] is not everyones cup of tea, we can go with your idea. We can take this practice session to rank up if we gather 12 peeps.

Thanks elune84. That's what we all gamers are looking for. Leveling is a bonus but nothing like having good tactics, teamwork etc.

Big example Clan EVIL. They know their game and have good tactics. That's why they keep winning most of the matches. Congrats on their 2 winning streaks.

Btw, anyone can host the game. Does not have to be an individual who does the hosting. We can also choose a squad leader as we will span into 2 groups. 6 vs 6. If your team works out real well. You may wanna form a Clan and head out to the battle field. So choose your players and play with them regularly.

@Jimsee

Pratice session from 9pm onwards and only for 1 - 1 1/2 hrs. Many would like to MP and level up after the practice.

1) Familiarize with the maps.
2) Different game play strategies.
3) Build your team and also team work. May even build a Clan if you find 6 great players you can work with.
4) Find your teammate (pair up) you can work together as a unit. Try not to Rambo unless you are prepared and able to do more kills than getting killed.

Gameplay and Maps - We will go thru all the different gameplay from TDM, Domination etc with one map per session so that we can take note of where to go/how to and how you and teammates comes out with tactics to complete the mission.

hahhaha..indeed. We were scouting the ins and out of the maps and suddenly our practice session is on..hahahha. Still cool n we had fun. i was raw meat for everyone as i was not playing and was scouting around on the maps.

Do join us more mate. You're always welcome and indeed you're a very good player. Clan EVIL also join us for a short game and they are very good as well. Both PH and myself we basically having scouting session on one map until it turns into a practice session...hahaha.

Most welcome mate. It was very smooth and lagless gameplay. The Hidden Sp Ops is very tricky and those snipers are sharp shooters. For Snatch n Grab Sp Ops, you just have to take your time and don't rush out to fast. The area where there's 4-5 juggernauts, either one of us hv to take them down or take turns to nail them while one do the reviving.

As for PS3 BT headset, i read lot's of reviews before even considering buying the PS3 BT headset while was considering the MatCatz PS3 Modern Warfare 2 Wireless Headset but opt not to get it after reading the review below.

It sure does look darn good but given that comfort is important for long hrs of gameplay, i went with PS3 BT. One thing that caught my attention for PS3 BT headset is that you can use it like a microphone while it's charging just by placing it at the cradle and plug in the Usb when the batt bout to run empty.

Btw, PH-MIO, bestdo and some of the players here are using the PS3 BT.

Around 165-180. Depends on sellers/shops. Head over to GarageSale section and enquire for a good price.

I bought my PS3 BT headset from forumer arjunawong (His name is Tim) and his shop is located in Bangsar Shopping Centre KL, PLAYTIME ELECTRONIC SDN BHD.

I would agree with blinky_w that you so study well and score well. This game or other genre of games will always be around but studies comes first. For us who works, work comes first before games.

So do well and be a great student. Then you can play all the games you want.

Some shops sells the PS3 BT at RM 160 while some are higher at Rm 180 in some shops back a month or two. So do some bargain work.. brows.gif brows.gif
