Hi hilk,
The thick strike actually makes of Zinc Alloy which is very hard to break. It has 4 holes for you to attach up to 6 screws and you should use wall plug if your door frame is make of steel. You can refer to the photo below I had taken from my friend's house. He has alarm security system in his apartment and the reason he install this digital lock is just display to stranger there is high security protection inside the house. Thanks.

How strong the lock? Is it use slot lock or magnetic lock? What happen if batt flat? Can use as maindoor lock? Hit by hammer still ok? Interested with ur product & now early stage of building own house. Wanna equip it with cool & safe stuff. Pm me best price oso.

If it runs out of battery, there is an emergency external battery terminal which you can connect with a 9V battery to operate it. I agreed with you, that is stylish and practical. If the front panel of the lock was broke by any tool, the lock will not unlock and still secure your home for break-in. The house owner just needs to call door installer to remove remaining parts of the lock and fix the door. Normally the main door in condominium/apartment will protect by another grill door which close the foyer, stranger have to break the grill door first before break the digital lock. Same for landed house, the gate already prevent any stranger walk in your house and this digital lock is second level to secure your house for break-in. Thanks.

What is the purpose of the random security coding, 2 random number will flash on keypad.
It just look like UNLOCK the touch screen keypad only? But it should not sound like SECURITY, every 1 also can unlock it by touch the 2 number appear.

We can program ourself for the smart card like IC, TouchNGo, credit card?

In case i install b4 reno the house. can i disable the it by just remove the batery only? I don't want the contractor use it each time in and out.

The main purpose of 2 random numbers is to avoid fingerprint smudge on the keypad, stranger can easily indentify what number used for your password by see closely to the tempered glass keypad. Example your password is 10111, stranger just need to try maximum 32 times with different combination of “1” and “0” to unlock it. With this random 2 numbers feature, fingerprint smudges on entire keypad which impossible to guess what number you used for password. That is the reason they call this feature as double security.

Yes, you can program your own RFID, Smart card and any other cards as long as it is 13.56MHz format. For me, I am using single smart card for apartment guard house and unit door entry.

You can just remove the battery to disable it but it will still operate if someone use 9V battery connects to the external battery terminal from outside. Anyway you just need remember what the default password is before configure or new password after configure to unlock it anytime. Thanks.

Few Question
1. As i saw in http://www.samsungdigitallife.com/, the original product come with 5 emergency key instead of of maxsafe com 2 emergency key.
2. N do maxsafe have other ezon digital lock which come with biometric and handle

Welcome registered as lowyat member. Actually not all our products have 2 emergency keys, some models have more or totally keyless. All our products are authorized and imported from Korea and we are partnership with one of the Korea largest digital lock distributor. We do have latest Samsung Ezon SHS-5230 biometric fingerprint with handle . The ~36mm thick wooden door is quite standard and can install a digital lock with handle as all our digital lock mortice latch wide is around 25mm. If your door is new and not yet install any lock then i strongly recommend you install a lock with handle. Also, Gateman F100 fingerprint is another good option, you should consider it. SHS-1320 is a sub lock and usually used for door already has traditional lock. You can consider other model with handler such as SHS5120. Installation at Johor is around mm150, Any 13.56MHz RF card can use for this lock but not ic. Thanks.

Maxsafe, I want to install the F100H to my existing old main front door ( the door thickness is 40mm ), can you please check for me whether F100H would be fit ?

The door thickness 40mm is fine but the existing latch is bigger than any Gateman & Samsung Ezon lock. Replace F100H can be done but the latch area will not looks nice. I suggest you consider sub-lock F10 fingerprint lock which you can install on top of transitional lock. More secure by having both transitional and digital locks. Please pm me your email address. Good day to you. Actually you can choose a digital lock by design, dimension, feature and price. We split our product into 2 categories which is sub-lock (without handler) and main lock (with latch and handler). Base on your picture, i suggest you take sub-lock unless you plan to replace a new door as new latch/deadbolt of main lock may not match to your existing door. Next you need to decide the lock is using rfid tag/card or fingerprint then last step is to choose base on design, color and etc or i can give u recommendation. All our digital locks can change password and program rfid card/fingerprint anytime, people won't know your password if you register by yourself.
