+ most of us consumers prefer multimedia headset
dont argue abt steelseries headset lack of bass..
its because we aimed at gamer and not audiophile users

i got both siberia and piranha
piranha earmuff is like a pivette..so its comfy to wear for extended period
siberia is not that good...large ear will feel pain after long hour of use..
this is due to their cushioning is too darn thin something that i dont like abt siberia
but i like the v2 in term of sound quality and comfort!
+ it isolate sound very good
and it definitely feel solidly built than v1
WTH!? 1st time heard siberia can rotate Zzz

siberia the two wire frames on top can bend outwards more to reduce pressure on the ears.
but doing so will reduce the sound isolation just a little bit, not noticeable when playing games anyway.

cuz when focused in game
even 5hv2 can isolate when focused in the game

When do you all think siberia v3 coming?

no la, mayb will get it ocktober but thought if new one coming out soon might as well wait.

is the soundcard realy good? worth the money or rather buy the siberia v2 only without soundcard

@victor2212, I'm using the SS sound card. IMO, the sound card actually is meant for those people that goes to CC or LAN party often and they want to have the same sound wherever they go.

For me, I lazy wanna find and plug those 2 jacks into the CPU. Just plug the USB..

If you ask about the sound quality, it doesn't really make much difference for me. Of course, different people has different opinions on it. So some might said it's worth and vice versa.

I'm pretty sure the only benefit the soundcard gives is the virtual 7.1 surround sound.

oh ill think about it 1st, mayb the soundcard usefull after all, since later the games sure 7.1

I rather save the money and get a real sound card. =x

but is not mobile? haha carry your internal sound card everywhere, ask cafe owner can open pc input soundcard anot and install driver.

Asus Xonar U1 is a decent choice for the more mobile gamer. But truth be told, I rather go without the Siberia sound card.

omg~ bro! icemat is an old company that merged with SteelSeries now

that wiki should be re-worded abit.
icemat and steelpad were under the same parent company, soft trading.
then later all the name change and merger happened.
cos i guess they realised it was pointless selling the same mats / headsets under both brands.
