Some cheap Riger wireless modem with only one Ethernet port & only support WEP wifi security............       but it's wifi signal is quite strong.... a lot better compared to my old Aztech 600EW......

To those who have gone to TMPoint, did you ask about whether the RM350 admin fee is applicable if within the 24 months there are HSBB packages and you want to switch to it?

Upgrade to 1mbps RM 71 <--WTF?
Upgrade to 2mbps RM110 <--WTF?
Upgrade to 4mbps RM130

2Mb is a waste of money..I'm using it now.

For my place its uncapped..so 1Mb I can get 180~200Kb/s.
2Mb can only get the 230~260Kb/s...actually, average is 230KB/s.

If wanna upgrade, its 4Mb or nothing!

not everyone so lucky like u. Mine 1mbps capped at 80% of 800kbps.

Like I've said before, if you can, try to "borrow" a friend's 1Mb account to test. I think you should get good speeds, maybe like those getting 1.1-1.3Mb. You can even try with a 2Mb account to compare results. If you upgrade, let us know the results after that.

I think 2 things u need to make sure on your (user) side first.

A = Streamyx phone line # is capped till what speed both DL and UL; this can be checked at the user modem/router web config main page;

B = Streamyx Account login ID is registered under what speed.

If your A > B == Full Speed + (lucky)Overcapped Speed;
        A <= B == Normal / No Full Speed.

Just from my TM streamyx experience. 2 same IDs can't online at the same time simultaneously at 2 different (streamyx)phone lines.
