May I know how many RAM slot in S42? What is the speed they are giving? Information I got is 2GB DDR2 only. Usually come with what brand?

There are 2 RAM slots in S42...yup, normally they only got 2GB, mine is hynix brand...dun know about others

My s42 so far so good... too bad that CS source does not run in 64bit windows 7... I've installed a 32bit os just for gaming in a new partition. |

CUDA is Nvidia's solution to use their graphic card to do some general processing..like converting movies or photo processing
i tried before using this software called Badaboom, the conversion speed is real time, or slightly faster then real time.. OpenCL is a common API for graphic card to do general processing, it's kinda new yet, but both red and green camp are adopting to it, and the best part is, it's card company(nvidia and ati) independent, and i recall it's even platform independent...meaning linux also can have openCL..with that, in game cpu calculation, maybe like havok, if Intel ever allow, will also be calculated using GPU, so that developers can throw in more realistic effects, i am still not sure how far can openCL go, but i think it can help out video conversion and stuff also |
