i got a question...

when i buy the ticket for 3D movie online via credit card, there seems to be a RM5 surcharge. I was wondering if i buy 3D movie tickets at the counter, will they still charge me with that surcharge fee? or it's just for those who choose to buy online only hmm.gif

Same price online or at the counter. But there is an extra booking fee for buying online. GSC charges 50 sen extra per ticket and TGV has a flat RM1 payment.

you actually can use maybank2u to pay via online at gsc.
No surcharge or any extra except for the booking fees.

I didn't like this at all. The whole movie consists of caricatures and no real characters. No real emotion. The main selling point of this film for me is the Dragon and even then, it's either Charizard or the Avatar creature. Sorry, didn't enjoy it. For a place that snows nine months a year, I didn't remember seeing any! Seemed pretty sunny to me.

I watched in 2D but I could already picture the sequences where the dragon flying through rocks or the fire spewing would be good on 3D but that don't impress me much. Sure you got the goods but you haven't got the touch. Don't get me wrong I think it's all right but that don't impress me much.

6/10

I am a fan of Jay Baruchel and Mintz-Please but Jonah Hill was easily the funniest character of the film. +6 Fire and all that tickled me.

yesterday went to watch HTTYD in 3D, sadly i think i missed out on the 3D effects in this movie, and i blame fully on the stupid 3D glasses of MBO. Its so blurrrrr and so darrrrrrk, and when i take of the glass, wow its brighter!

but still, i love this movie alot! awesome movie, a muz watch! and i havta agree, definitely under-rated.

btw, i browse through this thread from the beginning, and some of you said that there's no jokes or gags in this show. Erm... for real? or should i say, maybe some of you are not familiar with scottish accent or wad? i mean, the cold jokes in between Hiccups and his dad, and also in between his trainer (*wad's his name again?), and some other parts among the other students during their training. Even when his dad announce that Hiccup will be killing a dragon in front of the crowd, there's a cold joke there! i mean, man, u guys don get it, or its juz too small for u all to realize? tongue.gif

I guess that's true... wonder when will there be HD quality in cinemas...

I've watched Coraline 3D on Blu Ray and the image color though washed out still look sharp and all compared to the normal 2D version of this movie...

One of the better modern animations I've watched. Highly entertaining and enjoyable for me. Would re-watch it once more if I have the time. Slightly different storyline compared to the normal ones.

Love the chemistry between Toothless and Hiccup. smile.gif Not just master and dragon, more of best friends.

This is the best movie released this year so far. Highly recommended to watch at cinemas!

Watched it yesterday night @ Times Square, alone though.

It's very good. Character developments and plot progress between Hiccup and Toothless are believable. The animation is superb.

I totally love Toothless facial expressions. thumbup.gif

98% is well deserved. It entertains from the minute the reel starts rolling all the way till the end. A feel good story all the way.
