Bought an Osprey Kestrel 32l recently but unfortunately the 'top handler' cant even support the recommended weight at the 4th/5th time (broken after came out from cargo).

What a disappoinment and such warning not even exist in the manual. Plus, Bodypac failed to live up to the expection of 2 weeks of turnaround time for the backpack to be repaired.

I dealt with Bodypac directly since they are the principal/distributor but it's not their customer service that responding to me.. doh.gif
It was packed with clothes and half a dozen of bottled birdnest.. brows.gif ..that's what it took to break.

They've managed to repair it for me but that took more than 2 weeks and more shockingly, i was told that this is a known problem.. doh.gif
Actually based on the material itself is already not that convincing but never expect it would be decapitated on the 1st visit to the cargo.
Maybe not all Osprey are having such thing but for me, i'll be damn reluctant to buy any Osprey product again.

tungfunglaw...sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with Osprey. But I think you would get good reply if you contacted Osprey directly and explain to them your predicament.
In any case, I think we have to give Bodypac some credit don you think so?
What other brands would give any of such service?
Deuter? I don think so.
What do you think?
I'm not saying that their service is bad but it's the response from mgmt that surprised me.. laugh.gif
By right, they should have CS to deal with the customers and i never blame them since it's not manufactured by them.
Response from Osprey is an apology and it's a manufacturing error on this backpack..that's all..
Material quality is there but have to be careful..

my 32l backpack only ngam-ngam fit da overhead compartment if vertically.
it would waste alot of space if put it horizontally sweat.gif
