guys i need ur inputs urgently. I'm in the market for HD Ready TV with budget range of RM5,000 to RM6,000 (altho i prefer to fork out 5K to leave 1K for rainy days )...therfore all the full HD panel tv is out of the question due to my budget limit...my main tv use is for xbox360 gaming and astro...occasionally i'll use it for DVDs if i hv time...

I'm torn between buying LCD TVs or Rear Projection HDTV. Based on my budget i've narrowed down to the following:

LCD TV
1. Sharp Aquos BX series 32 inch
Price: Ranging from RM4,200 to RM4,400
2. Samsung 32" R7 series
Price: RM4,699 IINM
3.Sony 32" Bravia V series
Price: RM5,999

Rear projection HDTV

1. Sony 42" 3LCD Bravia
Price: RM4,999
2. Samsung 46" DLP TV
Price: not too sure but should be less than 6K (50" is already 6K)

Currently i'm leaning more on either Sharp Aquos or the Sony 3LCD. Sharp cos IMHO it has the most consistent PQ and the Sony 3LCD for its size and low price (I cant go for bigger than 42" cos i'm putting the tv in my room and my maximum seating distance is around 5 feet which is the minimum optimal seating distance for 42" )

I've checked out the online reviews and all seems to be happy with both the TVs. I saw the PQ myself and i'm still undecided cos both has its pros n cons.

Therefore i would really appreciate if u guys can give ur opinion and better still if any of u are using either the 3LCD or DLP tvs...seems like most of the discussions here are on the flat panel LCD tvs..
