Heard on the radio that trial for local HD transmission will start soon and around 2000 household in Klang Valley will receive such top box. Anyone got more info about this?

I was browsing at Courts Mammoth and saw this TV:
 Samsung LCD HDTV 32" Model: LA32S71B Price: RM 4,600 ++. Got that "GAME MODE", is it a mode to disable the Dnie chip so less lag? Anyone got the tv can give full review? |

Today I saw a Sony Bravia 40" costing RM9,000 (720p & 1080i).
I was very impressived with the quality of the picture that I thought it was running a Blu-ray demo until I realize that they actually use a Sony DVD player! Not Blu-ray, not HD-DVD, but a Sony DVD player! Sucks that we still don't have HD transmission otherwise that TV is a very worthy purchase. |
