i was using the Classe Classe VA-200 power amp previously and i tried a pair of Pass lab Aleph 0 Monoblock ....didnt really sound nice with the Pass Lab....the best combo i have tried was with the Audio Research for Tube amp and also NVA AP80/P90 combo for transistor amp.....so far one of the best amp combo is still the AP80/p90....still keeping the system after i have changed my speaker to Hales system 2 signature...

Actually the ProAc can sound extremely nice even with the low power amp but the problem with low power amp is that you wont get the lower end from the speaker...it can sound very nice with vocal but it will lose a lot of details n punch when it comes to more complicated pieces...it really depends on the kind of music that you going for....if you r going for smooth fluid vocals then by all means u can use an Audio Note or even any 300B tube amp and you can still achieve the sound that you need but if you intend to push the speaker to its limit then u really need a very powerful amp with good Control....
