Guys, be patient. Not everyone is educated on the products. Product changes everyday, if they conduct training everyday means no one will serve you? We as consumer can get the news even faster than their staff. If all staffs are busy updating themselves on DiGi stuffs, then who's gonna do the work?

i used to work as a back end support at one telco and i know how the CS works. they have their own communication channels (mass email, chatroom), knowledge based (updated realtime). all CS are required to get updated with the latest info since they have been informed via email before any changes are made to their products/plans. keeping themselves updated is a part of their job and they are paid to get the job done. if they dont update their knowledge, then they are not doing their job very well

to anyone who is on rm78 package, i have one question. the 25% rebate is calculated over rm68 or rm78? in my understanding it should be 25% from 68. but the digi representative at klcc told me that the calculation is 25% from 78 but i really doubt that. anyone can confirm this?

Well, 5Kbps is still ok for notifications etc. You will only have problem to download something or surf the net etc.

To be frank, 300Mb is just nice for me when I used Blackberry before. I just checked my past bills and mostly are less than 300Mb. Furthermore, with DiGi's fluctuating 3G network, you will not have the mood to do serious surfing or streaming via your Blackberry.

5KBps and not 128kbps?

yes actually 300MB for blackberry is more than enough since all data are compressed via BIS server.. that is the main advantage of using data plan with blackberry over the iphone or android platform..

didnt u read while signing up to digi BIS? last time i check it's clearly stated on the form that u will be charged 68+10 if u choose to include BIS..

but those who signed up before 22 sept 2010 still enjoy the rm68 without additional rm10

losing faith with digi already, especially the employees everytime also failed me.
btw i found the solution edi of either setting the apn to stream youtube, here it is
In order to set up YouTube, please follow these instructions.

Press: Menu → Options → Advanced Options → TCP/IP → Tick the checkbox to enable APN (If you see it) and type in digistrm in your APN. Leave the username and password blank.

DO NOT use the diginet APN on a Blackberry or you will be charged 10 sen/10kb.

that is the setting for rm58 plan which is obsolete.. if you're using 68 or 78 plan then u dont have to do this
