Hello everyone.

I'm new to the WoW. After playing with the trial account and liking it, I decided to upgrade to standard account. I purchase it digitally (at Blizzard's site, using a debit card)

At first it was okay, I can login and play. But today I couldn't login. Blizzard sent me an email saying my Trial Account upgrade had failed. Now they are totally locking me out of my account

I've called my card centre and they say that the payment is still being processed. In Blizzards email they stated that I can only call them (US? How much will it cost?) to rectify this issue. They can't help me through emails

What should I do? I really like to game and want to continue playing. Have any of you guys had this problem before?

The easiest way is to buy wow cd at lowyat or something and make new account and play. If the trial thing fail the payment wont go through.

I'll keep this as a last result. Any other alternatives?

in malaysia most debit cards cant work esp the bloody maybank one. for me i use standard charted's debit card.

Really? I've use the card before to verify my PayPal account and buy stuff from Amazon.JP. So I don't think thats the problem. Like I said, it seems the card centre is till processin:(

paypal tend to give reject payment to wow before. it the best u buy the cd from any outlet here and start new char with proper account. It took around 30-40 min waiting before u could even talk with blizz in US. (if u decide to call them). I have many CC. local bank CC tend to have problem with blizz when making a payment. so i use hsbc and no problem until now

Didn't know about paypal give reject payment to wow, since I'm not using paypal to upgrade my Blizzard account. Thats quite a long waiting time. And I've never tried to call overseas >_<

Grr, I didn't know local bank cc got so many problem; I assume it was okay since PayPal and Amazon doesn't have a problem with it

Still hoping there's another way to rectify this. Maybe wait till the status of my purchase is clear? If Blizzards gets my money and my account is still locked, there will be death (j/k).

oh if your using maybank card i think there is a problem me and my friends cant acess their online banking....

they wont take ur money..i have this problem before..4 transaction to blizz. after calling them, they tell the transaction wont go on if the trial thing failed. But ur limit still in touch..so gotta wait 3 days for it to cancel.

I'm using CIMB card. Maybe both local bank got problem

3 day, starting from the time blizz send the failure email is it? Did they give any reason why it fail? Also, my account is locked. Will they unlock it eventually? (Still got 6 days from my previous trial, but Blizz totally locked it >_<)

i just upgrade my trial from the odes of battle chest i bought from 1 of the sellers in lowyat garage sales no problem so far

lvl lvl lvl, den reach the cap. Unpatiently go do the transaction using my CIMB cc. 3transactions. omg...

the cc centre say the transaction already go through.

i waitted in the call for more than 30mins, still no respond.

It's our local bank's CC not recognised worldwide.

and MY is infamous for Credit Card fraud.

hhmm...anyone tried using other cc and succeed in blizard transactions (wow cards, game purchase)?

well , i prefer buy by cash . safe and sound. without using any card on net brought at THE SWITCH tho

I've tried using MBF (ambank credit line), RHB, HSBC, and currently paypal only. np.
