dude......when u want ur UV stuff to glow u need UV CCFL. end of story.

any other color wont make the UV stuff glow.

just look for CCFL where they put UV instead of color

got... some of the tamiya paints are fluoro color ma... but of course its a waste of money to buy them since theyre so friggin expensive and u can get the same (mebbe better) effect using fluoro watercolor or fluoro spray paint.

glow in the dark stuff are UV reactive too.

LED fans are generally not recommended if ur going for a UV setup... even UV LED fans arent recommended. coz yes theyll 'eat' up the UV light.

best is to have zero leds and pure UV CCFL lighting up ur rig for best UV effect.

i buy anchor fluorescent spray today but why when i spray on steel 3 coats but it dont glow in the dark WHY?
*
thats because fluorescent spray is NOT and DOES NOT glow in the dark. u want it to glow ur gonna need UV light.

dont mistake the fact that just bcoz glow in the dark stuff are UV reactive, other UV reactive stuff (like fluorescent colors) will glow in the dark...theyre NOT the same thing

@kchew07
fluorescent spray can get at any hardware shops. just need to make sure that its FLUORESCENT

question.

ne 1 tried fluorescent blue colour under uv yet?

how good is it?

from what i heard among all those fluoro colours blue doesn't react well to UV
*
ive tried a fluoro dark blue before...and yeah it sux under UV. can barely see anything. anyway...if u want blue effect u could always use white a4 paper....yup white. check out the fan...the blue section i did with white a4 paper only

as i see here, Sunbeam is quite good for UV. how about thermaltake and coolermaster?

plan to get Thermaltake UV sata cable and Coolermaster UV CCFL, any comment for this.

are those product can come out strong UV effect. appreciate feedback. notworthy.gif
*
if ur talking about their UV cables, fans etc etc...basically same thing...just that their fans might have different ratings and different type of UV reaction (depends on type of material used).

if ur talking UV CCFL then sunbeams...but others are quite good as well...just that sunbeams are really bright.

QUOTE(renesisx @ Aug 11 2007, 02:36 PM)

last time when i was playing UV the sunbeam has a tendency of burn inverters...now i dunno la....i think theyve managed to fix it already...but im not too sure.

either way, i never put my UV 24/7. i never put any of my CCFLs 24/7. so i dunno which is better for 24/7
