All insurance is the same, the diff only how fast u received claim, which other than Kurnia and UniAsia, others claim is reasonable.

Pertaining to claim amount, it all depends on ur sum insured and car value, so, if u only insured 90% car value, dont expect to can claim until 95% of your car cost.

Thanks u !
So we have to follow our market car value to buy the insurance right ?
if we buy the car is 80k,after 3 years no need buy the 80k again right , because the market value is drop, but why still have many insurance company called we maintance at 80k ?
thanks your info @wtfoo1

Answer Q1 - Yes
Answer Q2 - these insurance agent try to get bigger commission, bigger premium, coz the higher ur sum insured, the higher ur insurance premium/ cost. But, touch wood, in case u suffer total lost/ write-off of ur car, u will not get the full amount ur sum insured if ur sum insured is more than market value. For example, after 3 years, ur car market value become 70k, but, u insist insured 80k, so, if ur car write-off, u can only get max 70k, not 80k, even though u had already pay 80k worth of insurance premium.

No worry, together we share info and knowledge....

Currently, all insurance co is govern by Bank Negara and PIAM (Persatuan Insuran Am Malaysia) with strict guidelines, so, no matters which insurance co u go, or whether u go direct to insurance co, u still need to pay the same premium for the same sum insured (I mean legally lar, coz I know some insurance agent desperate for business even willing to forfeit their commission, but, if they get caught, end of their insurance agent licence)

But, few months ago, there is news that Bank Negara looking into possibilities providing discount to those ppl buying insurance directly from insurance co, bypass agent, but, after big huhhah, the matters quieten down oledi. Maybe u can check with insurance co c this had materialised and update us all here?  thumbup.gif

1)Isn't the new car battery from Honda under warranty 2 years ?
2)If yes (warranty in 2 year ), isn't direct brings only the battery to any service center of Honda ?
3)Why the battery weak so fast ?I went to rechange but unsuccessful too... the car only now with alarm and light , can't start it ..( the car only going 8400km in 15 month )
4)If Honda no allow to claim it, which battery is battery and suit for Honda city, please let me know the Brand ,size and better have model ...
