Its normal bro.

I do 80-100% city and can get around 340-350kms last time.

I finally found out the reason why.

You see ,when you want the car to go faster,you press the gas HARDER correct?You do this alot especially if your in doing alot of city driving. If you do that in a Vios,the Vios will surge forward like normal and the FC will be as good as ever.

But the same cannot be done in the NHC.You cannot just simply slam the pedal if you want it to go faster.You have to very VERY lightly tap the pedal and wait for the car to MOVE forward.It wont surge but it will slowly move.

So once you actually get to around 60-80km/h you can slowly press a little harder making sure not to rev the engine at low speeds(<60km/h),cause by doing so,it consumes more fuel than a 1.8 car ,SERIOUSLY.

Once your car hits around above 110km/h then you can press the gas like normal cars.

So driving a NHC is not that simple eh.All this thanks to the DBW in our cars.

I have used this technique recently and FC improved alot .Now can get around 400-420 km per RM 60 in "D" mode.

The only thing is that you have to be very very PATIENT at low speeds.

Yeap,Taffeta white on honda cars look horrible.

Especially so on the NHC.It just makes the NHC look so cheap and weird..

Hie guys

Has anyone of you reached 20000 kms already and already sent for 20k service,may i know how much is it?

I checked Honda website,its shows RM 329 but when I serviced today,they charge me RM 504.

Just wanna double confirm with u guys ....

Can someone tell me whether u change " Air & pollen filter" during 20k service???!!

Cause Honda charged me RM 230 for it,wondering whether you guys change the thing anot...

Mine is 7 months and has clocked 23500++ km already.

Now there is some rattling sounds coming from the dashboard.Damn 9 irritating.

And theres also a squeaking sound coming from the driver window..damn !

Rattling as in the dashboard plastic is loose,so it rattles against each other when your driving..

yea.. i am using meguiars shampoo.. cause love the smell mah.. haha! So far meguiars products which coming in package only clay kits d. shampoo or wax thing will need buy seperate there. for the UR bar... i can 100% poison u to install it. as what u said the problem will solve. not just 40 - 50km/h cornering.. 80km/h+ also no problem d after u install. i really work well in this NHC man. i current just install FB and ARB only.

bro... i think your car really the problem car u get d. my already 11month + and clock 23000+ km only.... so far no problem and no rattling sounds d.

about ur dashboard, maybe try ask SC... it might cause of ur air bag. and about ur window... really not sure d.. maybe u go to sc and tell them.. and do update us if they found what is the problem cause of that.. thanks.

Yeah,stupid Honda QC.Horrible!

Anyway,just wanna check with you,I did my 20k service the other day and it came up to RM 504.So blardy expensive!! doh.gif doh.gif

Here is the breakdown...

Labour RM 117
Engine Oil RM 68.59
Drain Plug Gasket RM 2
Oil Filter Cartridge RM 24.44
Honda ATF(Duno why must use three) RM 26.90 X 3

Drain plug gasket RM 5.43
Dust & Pollen Filter RM 200.60


Is it normal to change all these during 20k service?

It could be within hours to days.
Be patience maybe it could be late due to Public Holidays in between.

Oh,that was near SS19 Subang Jaya right? Its near SMSU also.

Lolz,even the sender of the picture cant differentiate a Toyota and a Honda..

That road quite dangerous cause everyone squeezing in and out,and sometimes ppl use the lane for going straight to turn right into SS19.

Honda ATF should be 4 bottle.... it is for gear if not misstaken. and for you Dust an Pollen Filter.. it should be services on 30k lah. If 30k there still changed it.. u need to mention to honda u have changed that. cause i believe all honda services center only changed that on 30k services. if they changed early should let u know they will changed 1st for u.

thats y ur service will be RM500+ if tolak dust and pollen filter should be just 300+ only

But the thing is ,if you check in HC3msia.com.my,there is one forumer who stated that 20k service will change dust & pollen filter...

Yea i saw the website too.Should be RM 329 only right?

But for RM 329 what do they change? If labour RM 117 and engine oil already RM 60,impossible they can include D&P filter for only RM 329.

Meaning now website and honda manual is contradicting each other?

Bro,i tried RON 97 and 95 and there is no difference for HONDA city at all.

Its the same,for RM 60 petrol can only go about 340-360kms only.And no I dont rev alot,just NORMAL driving like how everybody else drives on the road.

So far my car has done 24730 kms already.Fuel consumption has been like that since day one.I dont think it will ever improve..

The power for the latest NHC is bad during pickup ,from standstill when you press it really feels draggy.

But on highway,power is not bad but have to really rev alot lah this engine.If you dont rev it hard enough,you wont feel anything.As though there is no pickup.

But once you rev it,you can slowly feel the power.

And once you hit 4.5k - 5k RPM ,you will feel the VTEC kicking in,thats when you will feel a surge or power,but your petrol will go down like drinking water.

The NHC is really nice to drive on highway,but in city driving,it can be very draggy..

The only way we can help you is to ask you to send your car back to SC for a checkup.

Once the car is lock,you cant open your petrol tank lid.

Haha,of course cant beat lah.

Mini Cooper S,the one with the big hole on the front bonnet.That car has a 1.6 l engine but it has a supercharger.

So just imagine the amount of torque at low RPM,it will just blow NHC away lah..

NHC torque only comes in at high revs,so cant really compare.

Anyway,why bother comparing a RM 89k car with a RM 220k car??!!

Not logical at all..

The ticking noise is meant to be there la bro.

Its the safety lock to prevent you from changing from P to D without pressing brake.

So only when u press the brake,the lock disengages causing the "TICKING" sound.Then onie u can change from P to D.

So dunnit worry.

Normal bro,sometimes my half tank only gets me around 150 kms during normal,non-jam periods in which I never rev the car ,just drive slowly only.

It will be worst if you always make alot of SHORT trips.Short meaning every trip is less than 5 kms.

Anyway,my fabric on the door armrest and the middle arm rest are rotting away at 10 months old.

I checked with a leather shop and they quoted me RM 500 to change all 4 door armrests + middle armrest to real leather.Can choose colour.

Worth it? Or can get cheaper?

yalo,i think i around 2 months never change to S mode,liao .Damn mafan and lazy to change gear up & down in city ...before you get the car,you will feel the shifter is a very nice thing to play with.after get the car,sien with it very fast.thats what i feel lah after 1 year with the car d..
