Yea. The Taffeta White.
It's lovely. But they should've just kept the BBM. 6 colours is better than 5. Oh well...

they wanna keep production line simple i guess.. just like the FD they abandone the maroon(no i don't know the real name).. and introduce the nice and sexy blueish gray (no i don't know the real name as well).. 5 is the max color they go mostly on all car.. if i'm not wrong.. so they have to let go the least popular color.. no offend but base on sales figure.. but this time i think BBM is a nice color.. just the fact it's still the least popular...

the maroon(i said i don't know the name) FD bit funny lol so i'm glad ahahah...

if lets say at stand still and u changed to S WITHOUT first engaging the paddle shifter, yes it will auto shift for u. but only until the third gear. i know its kinda confusing but believe me, in S mode, the difference in pick up and 'beaufitul sound' are very significant, compared to D mode.

so what we do or most of us do is that, after u change it to S, engage the paddle shifter. u can do this by clicking the (-), left paddle with ur finger. this, will sort of activate the paddle and u are ready to manualised ur auto after that. i click the (-) because if u click the other one (+), then it move the gear to the second gear. imagine the car getting off the way from standstill in SECOND GEAR  hmm.gif  in manual cars oso i dont do that!

it does.. 2nd gear is a valid gear to start off.. if you go throught the manual the honda's gear box allows that to cater with the slippery road in some countries.. snow for example.. the second gear low torque will do well start off without losing traction..

in fact the system is smart to tell that the first time you start off with 2nd gear... when you shift to 3rd or forth.. and then come to an complete stop.. it won't go to first.. it will stop at second cause thats what you tell the system.. that you want to following journey to start with a second gear.. unless you trigger the first gear or shift away from S.. then it start at first again..

in manual you don't do that cause you get to control the clutch.. as for how much torque you apply on current gas input..

i mean, out of norm, i wouldnt want to accelerate from a standstill using 2nd gear. and notice or not, in this 5G city, it will only allow us to shift to second gear (upon activation) if the car doesnt move (for standstill acceleration, example at a traffic light).

well, i've seen jeremy clarkson done a 5th gear accceleration in a Aston Martin before. so i guess yes it can be done (move the car in any gear whatsoever) rolleyes.gif

yeap cause the 3rd gear can cause the engine to shut down.. in automatic transmission.. but in manual the gear isn't really lock until you let go the clutch.. i've drove a very old volvo before where it has broken first and second gear.. but then the owner said.. just watch the clutch.. start up with the 4th.. thats how he's been driving it for 2 years ahaha...

a RFID security system.. instead of driver requesting permission from the car.. the car is requesting passport from the driver (the card).. thats what they mean by passive right...

but it raises another security issue.. http://it.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/01/29/0233218

not to mention a bunch of domestic issue such as.. you cant lock your car when you're standing nearby chatting with friends..

ofcourse.. the standard key raises this issue too where thieves can capture your code when you're unlocking your car.. so the point is why pay more for the same.. unless if measure it by "cool-ness".. definitely understandable hehe laugh.gif

Went to showroom today to pickup dad from dropping car for service.. meet up with the SA and receive news about new color..

bold beige metallic will go for sure next year.. and the replacement color won't be taffeta white.. it will be a darker bronze.. this one's confirm..

the taffeta white however is still on consideration.. if on it will be next year.. replacing the deep lapis blue..

so for those who wanted bbm and dlp.. be quick.. but for those who can't choose between the current options.. you have more to headache about ahaha... biggrin.gif
