i tried the syntium 5000 0W-30 for my 25000km service, was using the syntium 800 10W-30 before this. the engine seems to sound slightly different, it doesnt sound as boomy as before though, and acceleration is somewhat easier thumbup.gif

im just curious if anyone has experienced difficulty in starting the car? like needing to crank it a little longer than usual [e.g. chek hek hek hek hek hek hek hek hek] once in a while?

yes.... it does happen occassionally.... at first i thought something when wrong with the car, but later i notice it only happen about once on twice a month...

so i think its not a bad thing... maybe some minor glitch with ecu that happen after certain mileage..

Yup..according to SC, it's bcz the battery terminal cables are loose...need to tighten it. So far, it'll only occur when I turn the keys to start straight away after inserting it..  blush.gif

last time this got so bad that my CPS almost couldnt start at all. the good guys at the SC took it for a few days and found that the cable from the streering column down into the car was faulty and changed it. though its still back now =(

is the forte tuned by lotus? IIRC they signed a deal with lotus right? unsure.gif

edit: oh and the last i read was that the forte has continuous VVT right? i dont hate proton and i aint a proton basher, but seeing how they took a gazillion years to get only VVT to work, theyd probably need 2x gazillion years to get cvvt mad.gif
