Guys, just curious, how good actually proton Ride and handling compared to other car? honda? toyota? mazda? bmw?

that y some people feel they dont get what they pay..60K with 7-9 years loan, then the car has a problem will give head ache. Now i just use 6 years old kancil.power windows never failed! so i hope the same thing for proton since i pay more than kancil. ...i can accept if my kancil nyek2 sound here and there.but for brand new car, and come out from showroom, get more nyek2, that is must be something wrong

I see several cases it happen on Gen 2 and Persona. Proton is very clever. When the insurance company go and inspect the car, if they is 100% stock then proton will be responsible on it. But if it saw it already had add on accessories or wiring being modified, then the owner will be a victim although the car is really 100% manufacturer defect. So far what I know is only a gen 2 have a manufacturer defect by the factory. Other than that, it burn due to the add on accessories and also because of mechanics which not do they job properly.

This trip I'm staying at Ridzuan Condo (opposite taman of Sunway Pyramid), usually will be staying nearby Tokio Marine building, but if can't make it this round then we still can meet next round as I'll be traveling to Shah Alam frequently until end of the year.

What colour is the waja you have shown here? It seems that Proton copied the colour from the exora and persona which is blue haze....
Anyway my SA just told me that the 2010 model is m line and the premium or high line is no more in production.   Can anybody confirm this.

If that is correct than better be fast and book the remaining 2009 models, 5k discount... New 2010 discount 2k but m line...

just return from eon today to take my cps.. ..so far so good.dont have time to test more bcoz raining day.so tonight i want to read the manual book..too many things i dont know..haha.

i juz bought a set of used GAB springs... its lowered more than i expected. first time using lowered springs.

mine stock is 4.5 fingers front, 4 fingers rear. after installed... its 2.5 fingers both front n rear... cornering... liked it! damage : RM150 + rm80 installed... hehe...

using stock abs.. will change if found leaking.. i can now safely use the 15" 55 series tyres without looking weird with big big voids... hehe...

initial testing with hard braking at corners resulting some rubbing at the front tyres. not sure whether its the fenders or foam insulation i put near to the wheel arches... checked tyres but no scrubbing seen....

then tried full load with 3 adults at the back... seems still ok at going through humps. moderate humps not those super high ones... maybe becoz i'm using normal abs not lowered abs...

it still didn't solve my "kruk kruk kruk" sound at corners.... >_<"

diablo: sphiroth using r3 springs + abs. some said r3 = sapura pro ride springs.

rydeck : 45 not my taste. even 50 already i feel very hard. with the springs i prefer to get those 55 series to suit.

Me previously use gap spring+standard absorber... Using 205/45/17, cannot load more than 2 adult at back, will hit arch if run on bumper..

Hehe.. Change back to standard spring... Wah, can open table lah...
