well..
actually all proton car face a heavy QC procedure...thousand of thousand of part to assemble..definetly got few lack...im quite agree wif VerM..its all about the money...n the decision maker...they decide the thing tht we get/use now...wif few minor problems...i still like tu buy it and use it for instant...as a Component Fitter...if vendor supply component didnt meet the standard but at the same time u cannot replace it as the Vendor claim it oledi Pass the Quality check...want or not...u still need to fit its...its not 1 ppl mistake...its the whole organization..but at the same time..we cannot blame the whole organization right?.. |

QUOTE(singchaii @ Jan 13 2010, 06:05 PM) I see several cases it happen on Gen 2 and Persona. Proton is very clever. When the insurance company go and inspect the car, if they is 100% stock then proton will be responsible on it. But if it saw it already had add on accessories or wiring being modified, then the owner will be a victim although the car is really 100% manufacturer defect. So far what I know is only a gen 2 have a manufacturer defect by the factory. Other than that, it burn due to the add on accessories and also because of mechanics which not do they job properly. wohh bahaya ooooo...mechanics not a machine..even machine fault once a while QUOTE(zenwarlord @ Jan 13 2010, 07:27 PM) This trip I'm staying at Ridzuan Condo (opposite taman of Sunway Pyramid), usually will be staying nearby Tokio Marine building, but if can't make it this round then we still can meet next round as I'll be traveling to Shah Alam frequently until end of the year. i know where it is...mayb we can american pool together QUOTE(dARKaNGEl @ Jan 13 2010, 08:01 PM) which japs rim shop you went to? many choices there? went c few @cheras and jalan ipoh near kia showroom, many high prices 1 I'm looking for a rim as well but just looking for a 15" though roughly how much they selling and are the wheels light weight type? |

QUOTE(jctasoga @ Jan 17 2010, 08:43 PM) i juz bought a set of used GAB springs... its lowered more than i expected. first time using lowered springs. yeah.. mine stock is 4.5 fingers front, 4 fingers rear. after installed... its 2.5 fingers both front n rear... cornering... liked it! damage : RM150 + rm80 installed... hehe... using stock abs.. will change if found leaking.. i can now safely use the 15" 55 series tyres without looking weird with big big voids... hehe... initial testing with hard braking at corners resulting some rubbing at the front tyres. not sure whether its the fenders or foam insulation i put near to the wheel arches... checked tyres but no scrubbing seen.... then tried full load with 3 adults at the back... seems still ok at going through humps. moderate humps not those super high ones... maybe becoz i'm using normal abs not lowered abs... it still didn't solve my "kruk kruk kruk" sound at corners.... >_<" |
