Ive been trying (well kind of) to quit WoW like forever, but in the end i will always come back rolling my face on the keyboard and pew pew away.

My account have been frozen intact for the fourth consecutive time now for like 7 month naow (grats!), but recently i am finding myself missing the werld... of warcraft. I am back to trolling the WoW forum, MMO-C, EJ and those sort. Ive even slowly in the dark accumulating mods after mods and ui... now i see that withdrawing again for the fourth time (lol?) is imminent. I am so going to see my face rolling the keyboard again Soon™.

This happen a few days ago, i merge my account with b.net and somehow out of my own stupidity(maybe unconsciously idiotic piece of crazy mindfcuked stupid brain damage of mine) bought the 60 days pre-paid card. oh how obvious!. Ive stopped WoW four times before, once three month before TBC launch, come back during the TBC launch for the lulz then quit again a month later because TBC is teh suxxor. re-roll during S1/S2 arena with a friend on a different server on a different account, quit again at the end of S2 due to study. I roll back to my old server realm two month before WotLK hit shelves and quit again in february also due to study and some less intelligent housemate of mind wrecking havoc all around the infinity ward (lol IW sucks) and make us move to a new house w/o interwebz connection.

Naow on my hand i got a merged account, still frozen. a sucky internet connection (lol celcom broadband) which pretty much going to change come december (yay! shitmyx) and a 60-days prepaid card.

what should i do?
1. Be an hero, topap naow and suffer
2. Be a lesser hero, wait for december, topap and still suffer
3. Sell the prepaid away (but it was gleaming with the "my preciousssssssssss" quote)
4. /wrist

It aint a even close to a wall of text, read it or shiz it.

i've known ppl who quit over 5 times - as in he intended never coming back, took a long (months) leave, yet still came back for it

no, i would not say its addiction. But a great game does make people come back for more - why else football or other sports lasted so long?

for your condition, i'd suggest no.2

just make sure you manage your gaming time and real life - having a hobby is not a crime

Honestly I am in the same boat as the Op right now, but for me its because of shitmyx. Is it me or has the connection to the internet been getting worst. Anyway yeah, I have logically not been playing for a while, but i do want to come back, but pvp, pve is getting so boring nowdays. I miss my balance (pve) and feral (pvp) druid . I was thinking of waiting for cataclysm, but who knows how long that would take man!

cataclysm mostly going to hit shelves summer 2010, blizzard has sworn on a 1 1/2 year per expansion. not dragging into 2 years.
