Government root canal treatment - RM5 per visit/treatment. An average of 3 visits the total amount is RM15.

For those who complain or cannot afford high fees of private dental root canal treatment.

Just done my root canal + crowning total rm1600

my root canal was rm950. crowning will be another rm900-rm1k+.

i think that's the norm charges here in sel/kl area.

but since the procedures are time-consuming (root canal approx. 4-5hrs and crowning 2 separate visits for moulding & fitting) and require a lot of skills, i think it's it fair.


at least tell us what's the name of your uni and where lah... tell halfway one.. zzz

May I know what is the material that you were using? I went to a clinic in Puchong and they quoted me RM 3200 ++ ( RM 1700 for RCT and RM1500 for good material of crowing which she told me it will look exactly our tooth ) Please advise.

where is the best place to do root canal in terms of expertise , I mean don't screw up my jaw, also is it very painful

I would recommend Dr Ng Wan Fook liao.
He is the best dentist I'd experienced so far plus his military background I am impressed.

His clinic is in PJ is exactly at opposite Kelana Jaya Station.
