Surely you have to think about the games you plan to play too?

Some games are exclusive to certain consoles. I've got my eye on MAG atm, should be a laugh having 256players having a frag fest That's a PS3 only game though.

MAG is awesome, but think of the possiblity of the exclusives you'll get with PS3, so far 360 got more exclusive but judging from reviews, PS3 exclusives are better than PS3

XBL got some code of conduct which u have to adhere to, they even ban people for "inappropriate" behaviour and that's no refund in subscription fee

PSN is not that bad, depending on IP range and games
I played some U2 MP before, all not lag at all

its so good , it even tops themselves. obvious choice there.

if u mean more userbase in malaysia just check the number of active member in the ps3 forum compared to xbox360 everytime u login to lyn.
I can tell u that ps3 surely have more userbase in malaysia compared to xbox360. But the online feature for xbox360 is still the best of all. If ur decision is strictly base on userbase then PS3 might be the one for u.

if ur compare xbl with psn, i prefer xbl. theres a reason charge pay to play. PSN network is always congested, even the simpliest update patch ill get dc several times. what more to say online play experience. xbl in the other hand is alot stable expecially in patches. If u want to compare the latency, and others well its pretty depending on ur connection and where ur connected to. for me, xbl sing, latency 100ms to 300ms even to us. psn latency 100ms local to 650ms us.

get and xbox.. live is far better than free psn.

TS, if u compared ps thread and xbox thread, u would rarely see ppl complaining bout the lag on xbox thread. but most of the time ppl is complaining about the lag and disconnection on ps.

follow ur kaki la..if more of ur friends is playing on live u buy 360 if on Wii u buy Wii

Funny how people are recommending XBL yet most of the signatures show PS3...

The PSN get's better everyday and in my opinion it's definitely up to the level of Xbox Live right now, probably a little better because it's all free.

XBL- voice cross game chat, faster updates, demos for XBLA games, movie DL service, soon games on demand.
PSN- Remote Play, gamesharing, internet browser, Home, Vidzone, more dedicated servers.

I will go for PSN, than:

1. Getting my console banned (because i modded or they made a mistake and banned me)
2. Paying $50 a year to play online, that's an EXTRA RM1+++ added to the cost of my console if i have it for 6 years.
3. Having a 55% chance of my console breaking due to multiple hardware failures including; RROD, E74 and other E errors, disc scratching, disc tray not popping out, AV video output malfunctioning, and 3rd party accessories not working or even breaking my system, and then waiting weeks or even months to get it fixed and returned.
4. Only exclusives i get to play are First person shooters or third person shooters.
5. Five halo games.
6. Forecast: Gears of War 3, Left for Dead 3, Fable 3, Halo 6, and Natal Presents Party Games for Xbox 360 are your biggest exclusives next year.
7. PAY the ultimate premium price for EVERY extra equipment or service that M$ has to offer that comes standard on other systems.
