H O L L A N D !

http://announcements.bursamalaysia.com/EDM...8F?OpenDocument

We refer to the article in the Edge Malaysia for the week of November 16 to November 22, 2009 titled "Guoco exploring ringgit funding" which mentioned of a possible merger between AFFIN Bank Berhad and Hong Leong Bank Berhad.

The board of AHB wishes to clarify that it is not involved in any discussions involving a merger of AFFIN Bank Berhad and Hong Leong Bank Berhad and the board is unaware of the source and / or basis of the said article.

The board of AHB continuously looks at measures to further enhance the performance and value of AHB Group for the benefit of its shareholders.

However, at this juncture, the board of AHB is not involved in any negotiations on any potential acquisition or merger relating to the banking operations of the AHB Group. In line with the disclosure requirements under the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia, AHB will make the necessary announcements in the event there are any material developments involving AHB Group.

This announcement is dated 16 November 2009.

Hehehehhe, long time didn't visit this thread, heheheh. Office block access to LYN, sigh....

Anyways, the KLSE has finally broke its 1200 barrier recently, and the mood is rather bullish at the moment, no? Whether it can breached the 1300 remains to be seen, hehe.

Anyways, good news to those who are holding Bursa shares, especially to those who bought the shares in mid July, as it is now traded at around RM8. I did post the CIMB and Maybank 'BUY' call on this counter, btw.

Anyone else is holding Bursa shares (mother share or its warrants) ?

yah yah.. agree with the opinions on MBB...

Neko's Dividend Policy : 60% of PAT
Assuming their yearly EPS is 12c x 4 = 48cents.. (which is quite low imo)

One share can get 28.8c dividend which translates to 4.11% yield at RM7.00 a share

Based on past records, their divvy can easily reach 40c or 50c a year...
