For those people who bought xbox360 jasper and falcon, can u all please share out your xbox360 manufacture date. I need to know info of date range that xbox360 sold commonly in Malaysia? I'm also a buyer, know it before buy it...

it doesnt really matter now as long as you are buying a new unit? there is only 2 choices now, its either arcade or Elite.

I bought mine in March08, manufactured in Feb08...Falcon set and still going strong

Console NOOB here.

I just wana know whats the diff of this elite/arcade version? and what are those Falcon, jasper n etc stuff. I got no idea. Thinkin of getin a console.

arcade doesn't come with HDD, hence you can't install game to it
and no backward compatibility with first gen xbox games also

elite comes with a 120Gb HDD, more storage for game installation, DLC download, demo and etc
can play back first gen xbox games


now all new x360 consoles are running on jasper chipset, which is more stable compared to the previous chipsets like falcon, zephyr

I see, now i get it. So which one is good to get (recommended)? Elite or Arcade?
