Hi guys, i'm a new bie for surround system, i have a budget of 30-35k for a whole set of home entertainment. I really need all your advice.

This is what i've been quoted.

Total price is rm 38,350. it's kind of costly...please let me know if this is a reasonable price? I'm from Ipoh myself....

why don't you shop around more coz your budget can easily get a decent system.

Only 2 comments: (4) get SVS PB12-NSD=RM3600; (10) get 10m HDMI from forumer and it works well ~RM200 only

get in touch with htkaki. He is the pro in HD projectors kind of stuff. RM 30k to RM 35k will get you a very decent setup.

Hi there,i'm from ipoh too.From the list i know which shop u got the quotation,no comment on their price but I suggest u to go to Designer Hifi cos their price is quite reasonable.( at least in ipoh area )

not familiar with the price of the rest of the items but ur denon 3808 is over priced d.. should be within 5k range

yes it could be. Cables can be very expensive.

NO if you buy from monoprice...
why u need a composite cable for anyway? even camcorders nowaday using HDMI liao, unless u still using VHS lar....

I guess your quote comes from C&O?

I'm sure it is possible to nego down the price a bit more. I find prices in Ipoh to be quoted a bit higher than KL (maybe got more competition in KL).

Are you happy with the items suggested? Have you gone to demo others?

i will not be bias here on who to recommend, but if you have listened to the setup in the bigger room, one thing for sure i can say is very good

the auditioned was done with 2 subs and LX71 and a powered Rotel' think you should consider replacing the Denon 3808 maybe to 4310,

Anyone know the marketprice for AVR 4310? even more costly than 3808?

Since you're a penangnite why dont you get Dali speakers, got local Dali dealer at Penang Plaza Tjg Tokong tel. 8901366.. I'm getting the Dali Ikon 2 for my stereo set-up..
