My old PC, with which the game has worked, had a defect.
now i installed the game on my new pc:
Windows XP Home
AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual
Core Processor 3800+
2.01 GHz, 3,50 GB RAM
my vga card is the one i used to have in old pc and it worked good

When i start the game, there is always an error because of DirectX...
Who can help me?

Try updating your windows( care if ur windows not ori). If not, look for your latest Graphic drivers. Then again, can you give me the model of your graphic card?

sry dont know which graphic card i have, is the name given anywhere, without opening the computer?
is it possible that i need directx11? its only available for vista and 7, i have xp...

Right click on your my computer and click manage. Look for a thing called device manager on the left hand side of the bar. The list of hardware installed will be displayed and look for a thing called display. It is there the make of your graphic card is listed.


DirectX11 is only limited to windows 7. That said, directX9 is beautiful enough. Remember to update your directX 9 n your graphic card drivers top the latest

i have found:

NVIDIA nForce PCI
and when i search for the latest driver, its said that i dont need a driver ?!

bollocks there should be drivers for her

go to nvidia website and find the latest drivers for your gc then dl it from there

Just installed mw2 on my system.

running I7-6gb ddr3 ram-windows 7 64bit, 4670 Ati

when i click the logo (either single or multiplayer) nothing happen. no load no nothing at all. what is the main problem? PM me the best answer pls. really need your help!

run..... it as administrator? Also, make sure you have direct x 9 and the latest Ati driver installed

your games are usually at steam\steamapps\common

Go to steam and verify game cache. It will check if there is any missing files. If so , it will redownload

erm , another q is i had click the properties of the game and "kinda" changed the target(path) , how can i reverse it ?

kk , i get wat u mean, but now i cant find where is the local file tab ?

when imma at home ihad no problem joinin and playin MW2
wifout the Nat Type : Strict
when imma workin outstation bringin my UMobile ZTE (dunno what model) broadband it restricted me,
ihad already tried the infinityward.com/nat thingy but phail.

do you have any problems connecting to steam? because my friend faces similar problems with his maxis broadband, its either your umobile thing does not have good signal.

certain vga card cant support more than it should
meaning,although you install directx 11,but your vga cant support,it wont have any effect

my i know...i have using c2d e8400 3.0,4gb perfomense ram,500gb,ati 4850 1gb dd3++..but y when i install this game to play...seem will lag 1?this game really so high end spec mer...??
