Once I received a sms 7 hours late from my friend. It said ' Im at the meeting point'. I was shocked when I received the message cause I though I had forgotten a meeting. I called and realized that It was a very long sms delay. he sent the message at around 8 am, I received it at about 4 pm.
Im 016, he is 012, not sure whos fault was it.

Edit, forgot 012 016 no point d. He is using Maxis and I am using Digi.

Most of sms delay problems are phone related problem. Certain phone model are very prone to have sms delay problem. It's due to Radia base station can't locate your phone when your phone is in idle state for very long time.

I guess so because they say by switching off the phone for some period of time, the line can reset by itself. I normally turn if off for a good 15 minutes.

No need so long la, 5 sec will do. When we on back phone, our phone will communicate with RBS ,then all unreceive sms will sekaligus comes in.

Easy, all those number are FOC number if you use Malaysia's 3 main cellular network. Let say if you use Hotlink then you use 122 to make a call until timer start rolling,by doing this will tell RBS that you are now active and alive and kicking.
If you use celcom,call 1111 , digi=0162211800,maxis=123
