By the way, I hope some "in-charge person" of MBT on these servers can answer a few questions.

1. How's the reservation works? Based on accounts emails, or single IGN (user). IP is impossible for some, we all know that.
2. Is it public servers with reservation or totally password protected servers?
3. What game modes will the servers be hosting? Ex. : Squad rush 4x4, Conquest (I am sure we all who played BF2/2142 will miss this mode very much eh?), Rush ...etc? Is it with map cycle?
4. What method will you be using to distribute the players to servers? Ex.: All MBT members in 1 server/ 3 months and 1 year subscribers / randomly.
5. The possibility to switch between servers? ( Yea, this could be the one issue that might affect gameplay, like : omg, I don't understand what they said, they aren't communicating in English ...etc )

For question 1 and 3 is kinda... well... hard to answer. I have seen the server setup of BFBC2 Beta from CombatTesting, and the features doesn't seems too bright. However, hope that they improved it in retail server client.

Can just pm me the answer tho. And seriously, thanks for the time and effort on making this possible.

Is there a deadline for the payment? I know the beta ends on the 25th, plus at the moment the connection to Singapore is still fubared for me so would like to hold off till it improves.

Gest, is there an option for Maybank transfer? Its just more convinient for me.

does this server can give a good ping? this is my first time playing BF original after for so long playing in *ehem* version

From 2142 experience the ping is about 40 - 70.
From BFBC2 beta the ping is about 15 to 38.

Generally connection to SG is less than 60 Ping for me and I have streamyx 1Mb ADSL line. If its more I usually swich IP adress until its gets decent.

I would say that anything less 50 Ping is very playable. Anything above 150 is not (like some parts of Australia).

BTW. we really have no choice, its either fragnetics in SG or bust.

Bust as in you can still play on those servers but you have to connect when its not full, and even if you do get in sucessfully you still don't how long until you are disconnect because VIP comes in and force the server to boot you out (and your stats not updated because you boot out in mid of a game).

ok i try to answer ;

1. previously they will put up your puid (player unique id) /pid? lol i also forgot so i guess it works the same way
2. the server will have no password, when vip enters non vip players will be auto kicked to make room for vip (previous 2142 server population is full almost all the time)
3. this we will conduct a poll and also have to wait the final game release. default will be rush as per beta and demo?
4. this will be decided when all payments have been completed to get the actual paying vip numbers. (also im still getting more info if vip can have vip access to both servers)

dateline is not set but prefer to settle before march, again the priority is set for 1 ranked server to be launched in conjunction with the game launch, so 1st come 1st serve.

haha thank you bro, it really makes thing alot easier if we can settle the payment asap. then only we can proceed with getting the server from fragnetics.

when the server is live, we will put up a dedicated thread for the server, everything can be discussed there.

and for the vip getting access to both server ( assuming we have enough players to get 2 server)if i recall correctly previous ranked server, it can be done but, we dont want to get in a situation where vip can't enter because the server is already full with vip dont we?
