Ok, guys. Let's get this Clan Wars started!! From: Daddy_Esteee
For tonight's game (Sat, 21/11/09), it will start at 10pm.
So, for the Clan Wars tonight, there will be 4 teams going into battle:
a. EVIL vs GU-7 b. LIVE vs F!FO1 c. VEIL vs 1MSIA
Team F!FO 1, please add Sa12ad in your friend list as he is the TL for LIVE.

p/s : Make sure everyone's at the lobby by 10pm.

Team leaders, Please ensure the respective team leaders (Metalgearz_07, Tuan_Arif, Sa12ad and Dekotora69) are in your Friend's list. Also, please make sure you have your 6 team members selected.
As for other teams,
The War is still open. Get at least 6 members in your clans & let me or sixaxis know of your team.

Below is the league format that we're using:
LYN Modern Warfare 2 Clan Wars Round 1
Team| EVIL LIVE VEIL FIFO FIF2 EVIL ---- LIVE ----- VEIL ----- FIFO ----- FIF2 -----
Maps & Modes a) Each match will consist of 6 games. b) Each team will host 3 games c) Modes will be Team Deathmatch, Domination & Hardcore HQ d) Each team will have the liberty to choose their own maps for the respective modes e) No spectators allowed
Players a) 6 vs 6 b) Match will proceed as normal if team has not enough players by the time match commences c) Players who have played for a particular team in the tourney, will not be allowed to play for another team. Players caught playing for two teams will result in both teams will be disqualified.
Others 1) No devices like FragFX or converter is allowed. Only original PS3 controllers. 2) Players found using any cheat devices or hack(eg. rapid fire) will cause disqualification to the team.
Team Leaders, Please make sure you add all 6 Team Leaders in your PSN Friends List.

I'd like to ask how's MP ? does it smooth?? or lag?
Now that the game is officially launched and most COD players already got their copy. Chances are, you will have no problems connecting to players around this region. Best time to play as mentioned by other members here is from 6pm till late. In the day, connection might not be as good as chances of you being connected to countries further away are more likely. So, to enjoy a good MP experience, add as many people from the Players List above. Log on from 6pm onwards. You'll sure to have a "bloody" good time.

To play online with fellow members here, it doesn't matter. As the MP part of the game is region free. Your concern should be - will there be region lock for future MAP downloads. That, is a question I still have no answer to myself. Can someone confirm? Or provide source on DLC? Was CoD4's DLC region locked? I can't recall.

Its IW problem... They are going to release a patch this weekend... So wait till then to play MP... This what happens when they port a game from Xbox. They wont test it on PS3 before they release it.
playing with pippolan "spec ops" for the first time. the spec ops are way awesome except ..playing regular is already too hard hahaha. ask pippolan... but every level has different missions! like the plane from above and being in a helicopter helping your friend down there by himself lol.

Apparently today's patch won't fix the invite issue. IW will release another patch on friday to fix the invite issue

No its not true,Maybe the is room full,thats why you cant join.Its ok tonight Ill invite you again or if you see me online just go to my PSN ID and join my game.
Still needa wait for the right patch to come... ...anyhow its jus the 'invite' problem...still manage to get into some RANDOM mp game without ya will to choose the hosted games...(needa get use to it )
Yup, this weapon is available in MW2. I unlocked it already
i think the problem most of us encounter is when some1 invite u for tdm..and we r lets say not in the game lobby..we will get the invalid game session as for the spec ops..just now me n david tried to invite each other but encounter problem "lost connection with the other player" or something

Btw, anyone of you get invite friends on Spec Ops with streamyx or create private match? It seems to be a problem. If any of you have a solution, do let us know how to go about.
it's been confirmed by Robert Bowling that you can't just switch between 1st- and 3rd person view as you please. The perspective will only be accessible in private matches, which are clearly identified as 3rd person.
"It's not something you can toggle on and off in ANY game," said Bowling. The special mode can only be played in private matches -- toggled on or off just like "Hardcore" settings -- or in playlists that are designated for third-person play. According to Bowling, everyone playing in a third-person playlist will be restricted to the viewpoint. "This is just another cool way to play the game," he said, "you obviously will still have the option to play gametypes normal as well."

That's not a very good thing. They should do a stats reset due to those who are already higher levels and it totally not fair to those who just join and become raw meat.

try main COD classic dapat free dari prestige edition....graphic cam haram ..malas la pulak lol. MW2 ni pun level aku masi low, baru start main MP...SP pun aku tak finish lagi lol. so tgh adapting ngan aiming ah haha

so no other alternatives except the airdrop. But the airdrop sometimes easy to be hijacked by the enemy. And 4 killstreak really hard for noob like me.

not sure about this game (not yet update ), but i think you can join friend, but if you get invite, you enter party, so when the party jump here and there, you follow automatically

this is the first time im playing fps on console. Giving myself some time to get a little better. If after a few weeks still shooting air, i may get fragfx!

Same, been playing since 430pm until 12 midnight, no server issues. played couple private matches with friends and also manged to party up with PSN friends. Playing using R2/R4 ( hardened packaging outside box states R2, game is R4). no probs
all of suddeng it gets lagging bro. cant aim anymore lol.. tomorrow night kita main lagi. terror la you bro! good game with you and the rest of the low yati-ans!!
