i did a jailbreak on my 3gs using Blackrain, it was the simplest of them all.

does anyone have any sources i can add to cydia where i can dl more free/jailbreak release apps?

i'm currently running baseband 05.11.07 on my jailbroken 3gs using blackra1n.

i've read that for baseband 05.11.07, it is possible to jailbreak OS 3.1.3 using blackrain.

if i upgrade my firmware to 3.1.3, and jailbreak, will i still have all my apps and settings?

did you upgrade from 3.1.2(jailbroken)?

just plug in your iPhone to your pc/mac.

then run blackra1n, tats it. takes only about 5-10secs

hey anyone using SBrotator?

i'm having problems with this, its suppose to rotate the spring board as you rotate the phone, but mine just wont seem to work..

could be be clashes with other apps? the only other thing i use on my springboard is infinitedock, i've tried disabling that but still doesn't work

I'm guessing it will be up when OS4 comes out, they aren't gonna be doing anything for 3.1.3 now that the next OS version has been announced to be out in a few months

now we need someone to post up a guide on how to do a upgrade from 3.1.2(jailbroken with blackrain/pawnage/redsnow..etc), to 3.1.3(jb with spirit) and be able to restore all apps and settings

will it restore jailbreak apps as well?

since its a fresh restore and has not been jailbroken yet.. im curious to know if i'll loose all my JB apps when i do a fresh install of 3.1.3.

(currently on 3.1.2 blackra1n jb)
