Correct me if i'm wrong for the steps to upgrade my version from 3.0 to 3.1.2 i3G.

- update this 1st from iTunes (shift + update) "iPhone1,2_3.1.2_7D11_Restore"
- once successfully, run blackra1n from PC & install Cydia & iCy from it.

or i just run the blackra1n only?

Question is:
- if i update, will my phonebook,setting & everything will lost cost when i Click restore from backup, it shows that "only phonebook contact & setting" something like that only will restore..how bout my song,pics & movie. Need expert here. TQ

Added on December 27, 2009, 7:15 pmis it all contents in the phone will hilang by doing this? yes, we need to back up all our data 1st before upgrade,then restore back up. is it right?i'm scared to proceed cos takot everything will hilang especially my phone book.

My Cydia come out with this error: "Database

Encountered a section with no Package: header". Wat does it mean?

& some time error "Note: Cannot Locate Package". When go to section --> All Pakcages, nothing there. Wat should i do?

re-JB & prob solved but scared if same thing happen again..
