actually i changed my mind 60usd is completely worth it because you get to shoot an unlimited number of brazillians in single player

edit: posting on the forums is a really futile exercise considering the signal to noise ratio there, and the main conduit still being Bob XBOX02. There are more direct lines of feedback, and yes I will be making myself heard.

Are you new to the internet?

RM200 for a 5 to 7 hours single player game to me is not worth it on the other hand, RM219 for Dragon Age: Origins single player that can last you up to 100+ hours is worth it. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed playing the singleplayer part of CoD4. But what is even better was the the endless hours you spend on multiplayer.

If I'm not mistaken (Haven't actually tried it out, obviously) since the game is essentially peer-to-peer with one person hosting, if you get matchmaked into people on the same LAN it'd be a LAN game. If the host is on the same LAN as you it'd be a LAN-hosted game for you in terms of latency, with pubs connecting in from across the internet.

Probably hence why they said private matches would 'replace LAN play'.

Any other popular FPS: Join the cafe's dedicated server (which tells you 0/32 or 1/32 or 10/32 or whatever depending who's playing)

MW2: Yell HEY IS THERE ANYONE PLAYING LOL THROW ME AN INVITE across the cafe like a retarded chimp.

Falk, may I have a request? could you please upload more frag videos? If i'm not gonna get this game I could atleast enjoy watching it.

I'd consider it if:

1) I could record demos for playback later (so that I didn't have to play at 30fps while frapsing)
2) There was a console so I could actually tweak stuff and not have it look like complete ass (Aspect ratio/FoV/gun position/etc), and capture at a slower timescale so that I don't get dropped frames in Fraps. Not to mention half-reso footage.
3) There was content worth making a frag movie of. Unfortunately with no high level play (Anyone can shoot idiots who stand still) and so many random network issues, it's absolutely not worth my time. Sorry.

You can thank IW for the fail re: all three of the points above, btw.

You won't be seeing any of that for MW2. Not until IW grows a brain stem regarding competitive play, which actually consists of more than throwing money at Multiplay just so that i38 (upcoming EU LAN event) hosts a MW2 tourney.
