Erm... budget still not sure yet.. Silverstone temjin is the TJ07? how about price for cosmos pure?

& cosmos pure dont have front fan?
*
I dunno if they still have TJ07... saw a few TJ11 though...

To tell the truth, I haven't been seeing any CM cosmos on the shelves for quite some time.... its an old product actually and not many shops will have them for sale anymore... best bet is to look at the garage sale

maybe another good chioce is the CM storm trooper? or the Corsair 800D?

TJ07 is readily available among most reputable resellers in Lowyat.

However, depends on what you want to do with your rig. If you are into watercooling, TJ07 or Corsair 800D are among the top choices.
Cosmo II should cost around RM900, since it is made from steel. It should be good for watercooling too judging from the online reviews.

I know it's quite hard to find cosmos pure bcz it's really an old product.. but this casing really looks silence and cool... blush.gif
CM storm trooper looks rough like HAF X, so I dont really like it.. but that's a good suggestion... corsair 800d was once in my shortlist, it looks classic like my 600t, but now i planned my rig to be much more on air-cool... anyway, thanks for these excellent suggestion... rclxms.gif

my planning is go for air-cool now, then upgrade to water-cool in next few years time... so TJ07 or TJ11 or 800D will not be in my list now.. cosmos II mayb out from my list cz it suits water-cool better than air cool?! blink.gif

If you want a good air cooling case you need to get a single chamber case.

- Corsair 400R, 500R, 600T, 650D (400R/500R with 11 fans)
- CM 690 II Advanced

There are many other casings but these are some we know are decent air cooling casing. The 400R/500R are probably the best air cooling casing. The CM690 II is just as good. One thing the 690 II does better than Corsair is that it allows 2 x 240mm radiator for WC in the future. smile.gif

A customer of mine has a brand new one for sale if anybody is interested.

The material isn't really going to affect the cooling capacity of the casing. If you couple the heat source to the aluminum chassis then yes the aluminum chassis will sink the heat better but being surrounded by aluminum vs steel would make little difference in the case's cooling properties.

Arguably 400R is better in air cooling but 690 II will kill it once you go WC.
