Usually its not recommended to use the built-in speakers that the monitor comes with, because the sound would be very (VERY) crappy.
Its advisable that you buy another set of speakers to pair with your monitor instead.

Most of the monitors with hdmi input will have their built-in speakers, but not every monitors though (iianm).

im gonna share a sad story, earlier i bought the samsung b2330h and i wanted to use it so i plugged in everything but it didnt work .. tried dvi/vga all not working so i thought my gfx card already gone then i re-try with my 17" guess what it worked.

so i try to use a laptop, connected via vga when pressing the fn + f5 button my lcd turn white and seconds after white smoke started to come of it.

could it be my fault or lcd got problem.

Only way to find out is to send it to samsung tmr morning and see what will become of all this. wish me luck hope they replace me with another one.

Note: the lcd was manufactured march 2010.

how much the price market selling for the hdmi cable..
dell offer that model is not inclued hdmi cable..
if need it must add for RM80...
should i buy together or mayb i can get cheaper at other shop?

talking about dell ST2410, how is the performance? i was thinking of getting the monitor with the extra belkin HDMI cable which is RM98. do you guys think its worth it? by using HMDI, does it improve the quality significantly?

About the DVI cable's last time i bought 2 types of DVI - VGA converter and both didn't work for my office PC as there was no display.. then i went back to the shop i told the owner, he instead took out the one in his display set and gave it to me. Lol it really worked  . Then i noticed all three had different number of pins attached/poking out but all are same shaped (i mean the pin sequence are identical)... so will this be a problem if i get a non dell DVI to HDMI cable ?

actually im as confuse as you and i really dont want to get the dell cable cause its really expensive... im getting DVI cause i dont need the audio part from HDMI but not really sure will it make any difference though.. but the VGA i know is it has limitation for higher display resolution 1920*1080 is the max i think(even this is straineous edi)... beyond that better opt for DVI or HDMI

Backlit bleeding, my Samsung 2333SW also having quite bleed at both side only, but those salesman told me every model beyond 20 inch will have this kind of problem =.=;; aih.. cheapo model... no comment T.T;;

But I do notice those LED backlit has less bleed problem, like Dell G2410. Maybe spend more to get LED backlit? 0.0"

If i'm changing from H233H to ST2410, will it be an upgrade or just the same? Cause I'm not used to glossy brite screen.

Can you use camera (without flashlight and night mode) to post the picture of your monitor here? Allow the room to be as dark as possible, no light better.
Use screensaver with blank screen mode.

hello all, need advise here I'm going to get 24inch LCD to hook up with my ps3 and pc, I'm oni need DVI for my pc with ati 2x4770 gpu, and HDMI for my PS3, HD resolution is a must for me got more output like audio out jack is more better for link up with my speaker, in my opinion is between ViewSonic VX2433wm with pricing @6xxrm and SAMSUNG B2430H @7xxrm best deals in lyp, which one of those lcd do you think one more better and worth it to get for gaming and movie? beside I will use it for my photography works, thanks

Dual DVI output from single GC or Dual DVI output from dual GC?
Can i use single GC with Dual DVI output and connect both DVI output in to HP LP3065 to have better picture quality or HD. Because only use it to watching movie only
