i cant believe rooney decided to go for glory just now when anderson or valencia were in a better position dry.gif

QUOTE(Characuta @ Nov 9 2009, 12:53 AM)
2 key moments for Utd that I could recall really well now would be the part where Rooney couldve or shouldve passed to Ando and the part when Valencia didnt return a 1-2 w Ando who was already making his run in. Those could be well be goals but oh well, the team has been well for the 1st half IMO.

Oh and did Terry's egg got cracked by Cashley? lul
*
Oh well, Ando was disappointed...

since SAF complain about ref, i can see the ref keep revenge our games...
*
I am not thinking that ... but I think the ref has made some poor decisions and was a bit "slow"....

We had some poor decision and Chelsea had a few too... they too receive a few yellow card.

Okie. we lost the battle but not the war. So don't give up guys.

I am impressed with Obertan today though he played on 10-15minutes.. but look promising even in big game against Chelsea @ Stamford Bridge.

I always think SAF has a reason to put a lone striker to strengthen the midfield.

If not we might not able to even see a 50-50 performance today.

Chelsea are very strong @ midfield. Let them control the midfield, means we don't have much chance.

Considering the fact we are losing our main defenders. We need to strengthen our midfield and on and off when attacking we try to put someone play deeper to support Rooney.

Yes we lost but I am happy our defenders did quite well and VDS' performance was good.

..ronaldo was shit against big team..most of the time..
*
to be fair. Ronaldo was shit at times because he was being *guarded* by few players.... but that indirectly gave the other players some space to move around....

But Ronaldo's gone.. Why do we still bring up Ronaldo?

Have faith .... We deserved a draw but this is football, right?

i m looking forward for obertan to start in next game...probably he is as good as CR7
*
They are different type of players but probably he can be as good as CR7 and Obertan is more towards a "team player" than CR7 was.

Valencia is good but he lost out in term of physical to Chelsea players.. well, he should ask Fletcher how to do more "gym work" .....

He needs to build up his physical a little bit and I am sure the lad is going to be good.

Not to mention Valencia [who I thought would struggle against Ashley Cole] actually did quite well considered how Ashley Cole handled CR last time when he was with us.
*
I was happy with Valencia's performance except on physical he lost out a bit but the boy is good.

He will need to train more on "finishing" job especially it is way off-target when he does it.

Overall, room of improvement are always there.

Obertan again, promising player. Looking up to him.

y should he learn? he perfected it.. absolute no contact but ref was conned.. gerrard sure proud of that

No more *Stevie Hollywood* for Gerrard.... HollyNgog maybe?

Well, just don't bother how they do la, it's still a draw anyway and we gotta buck up for our next game. Good thing is we need not worry much on GK department as VDS is back and providing solid display now.

Thankful he is back on time as Vidic and Ferdinand were not around.

I will definitely NOT take it seriously. Probably the interview was done with the Portugal media and his words are twisted somehow. Not the first it happens anyway. Furthermore its from THE SUN!  laugh.gif

Now Soccernet publishes Nani is sad..

Well, I am sorry as I will not defend Nani in this. I think SAF has given him a fair amount of games, considering we have many players here. But he still failed.

We know he needs more games but EVERYONE also need more victory.

SAF is just being fair to all the players, the club and the fans.

i have doubts that Anderson might stay....others might retired at MU.

i too think like u but i think we shouldn't speculate that much oso n should try to have more confidence on them. As long as they give their 100 percent in every game then it is good enough

SPURS are lining up a £6million New Year bid for England keeper Ben Foster.

Loan will be better.....

Since Cudiccini is out only for some times.... But if VDS hangs up the boot. Not sure if Foster ready to take over. I have a feeling still SAF will look for a more established and top class keeper.

We already had a keeper crisis when The Great Dane left and I am sure SAF will not want to go thru this again.

if foster leave for Spurs, he probably get his chance unless Gomes shake his error prone title.

And he's gonna be a third choice when cudicini returns tongue.gif

I think Foster still want to stay with us but he needs a run of games in these few months to ensure he can be part of the England World Cup squad.... 6 months is sufficient for him to be in Capello's plan.

In other word, it also benefits us.. If he can go into WC and get the experience.. He may turn to be a very good GK for us in future as well. Else if we have better GK, can probably offload him with higher price.

I see this as.. Killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

Spurs 9 goals just unbelievable..

They are looking good this season...

However the main problem sometimes is not about the defence poor.. It was about "they took all the chances well"

This is what we are a bit lacking... and SAF is trying to improve this very much.... to be more clinical..

It is good to see that Valencia is starting to gel well with the team and he is trying very hard to improve his game. If he continues with the same determination, I am sure we will get more goals from him.

Obertan looks like he got the legs but his positioning is awful. He passes the ball and doesn't know where to run after that.

Let's hope that ManU midfielders can score goal for fun now and that surely will get the goals start coming again especially the strikers have not been prolific as what we have expected.

Nani should be sold. Evra has shown him how he can pull defenders out to the corner and escape with a cross. Nani simply makes things difficult for himself. He pulls the defenders, got himself trapped and loses the ball easily.

At least Man U defenders are getting better. It is sometimes a nuisance to have Ferdinand in the team when he cannot live up to his reputation that he has once shown, what a masterclass he can be.
*
Please stop using ManU or Man U.

QUOTE(nimrod2 @ Nov 23 2009, 05:05 PM)
ferdinand - he is injured after all. guess he's not at his peak at the moment, and maybe having a dip in form. he'll be back soon.

nani - nothing to be said about him la. trying too hard but not having any result. no use wan like that.

owen - he's definitely master class predator. good skills and instincts. just needs some confidence and more games.

rooney - he's just getting frustrated at being stuck up as a striker. he's not used to it. haha has so much energy but doesnt know what to do with it tongue.gif
*
Ferdinand... - He was playing with injury, it is time he takes a rest to get his back recovered

Nani - Good skills and technique but not efficient yet. Remember, efficiency comes first. smile.gif

Owen - If we can get him fit, he can score quite a number of goals for us.

Rooney - He is a threat but have few times being played as lone striker. Rooney doesn't perform well alone upfront. Rooney and Owen combination are actually very dangerous.

Thankfully we have Evans now.... a true Centre Back and at the age of 21.. He look promising for a Defender to be able to deliver at such a young age.
