QUOTE(alien2003 @ Nov 25 2009, 11:56 AM) Well, SAF did explained his reason that he was expecting Hargreaves to be available for last few group games hence the inclusion. IIRC, we will submit a new list for knockout stage, right? Yeah, Currently we are lack of the player like Hargreaves and the inclusion of him is very very important... If we had Fletcher and Hargo on last year CL Final..... Who knows our midfield wouldn't suffer that much... Hope we will have Hargo back soon.

Kuszczak was fantastic yesterday. Made some great saves and nearly saved the penalty. Still he was real solid yesterday and we could see his response was really good.

QUOTE(eddy_87 @ Nov 29 2009, 05:49 PM) ditto MOTM for me, if not for his great saves the score might get upside-down against us in the very beginning of the match Well true... We need a solid defence in order to push real forward. In fact, defending part we were just okay on ytd's match. Not really at our best but thankfully for the solid PIG.

QUOTE(creap @ Nov 30 2009, 12:58 AM) They got trashed even harder? I really do not see how can they recover, their CBs have been weak going up against Drogba and co. I'm just thankful we have Evans as backup as he managed to keep drogba pretty quiet during our clash. Oh man.. Evans gave Drogba some kick-ass *leg-kiss* on that night.. that shows... Never ever try play play even when our main CB not around..... This post has been edited by davidlow7: Nov 30 2009, 01:00 AM

Don't think that we had made some serious offer for him......
What popped up just a slight rumours if I had recalled it correctly.

I also have a feeling Foster will play tonight... SAF trying to push Foster to the World Cup with England if possible
Actually this is really good for us as well.
Foster can have the chance to gain WC experience... Why not?
Of course I hope he can perform well coz we don't want to let this small Cup slips away too.

QUOTE(IcyDarling @ Dec 2 2009, 06:00 AM) swap him for silva from valencia(team) I am supportive of that. Nani is a good player but he just don't shine. I have a feeling he will be a good in La Liga... If we can get Silva.. no guarantee if Silva can adopt or will be like Nani but I would like to try... A number of Spanish players has shine in EPL.. i.e Fabregas, Torres... I'd say why not Silva then... This post has been edited by davidlow7: Dec 2 2009, 12:37 PM

QUOTE(EmaNLeTo @ Dec 2 2009, 11:01 PM) I bet you are one of the few people who stand still behind Ben.. Of course I do stand behind Ben too But I also stand behind Kuszczak.. he deserves a fair chance and he has played well in these few games... I also stand behind VDS.. and anyone... Conclusion, we stand behind our own club... but we must be realistic and fair to all players. This post has been edited by davidlow7: Dec 2 2009, 11:42 PM

I don't understand why people keep saying about we cancelling the confirmed deal or bad handling of the thing ... and being unprofessional...
If there was really a deal that been made, everything will be signed in a paper and it's legal. If we cancel, there might be a sort of compensation. I am sure everything has been agreed upon if what happen at last minute such as this..
So there is nothing to really blast or shout about. Who else is to confirm Ljajic will sure be a star here? He could be a star at other team perhaps in future but not necessarily he could adapt to us.
Plus we have many midfielders around and there is no need to worry. Even when Scholesy or Giggsy retired... we will still have some players and by that time the veterans are about to go then it is still not late to locate for another player.
