but recent years in terms of young talented players arsenal are much more excel ... wenger trust on youth has paid off this season when they officialy overtook united as chelsea titlte main challenger ... i know still got 26 matches left but cant the current performance are not good enough ...

wenger's youth player is no where better than ours. They can shine because of a senior player helping them. Eduardo.

We only put Owen and Neville to help the youngsters.

Both SAF and Wenger has proved themselves by nurturing young stars. But Wenger has shown some giving up in youth players by signing superstars like Andrei Arshavin, Fabregas, Eduardo and maybe van Persie

haloo.... RVP... Cesc... Eduardo? These players were no one until Wenger bought them. Only Arshavin is an established starter/star player.

RVP bought from feyenoord for 2.7M
Cesc brought thru Barca Academy for less than 1M
Eduardo.. no one really gave the guy a chance until Wenger. still he cost around 7M.

Fact. They were nobodies.

Wenger put hope on these players and they gave back result performances to him.

Argh...I thought we will get something from this game. It was a good performance from the lads. But the moment Giggs didn't pass the ball to Rooney to shoot in the second half, I sense that we will not get anything from the game.

Anyway, if we lose like this, there is no shame.

This is my favourite moment....you know....when he was down i don't see any of his team-mate try to get around him and take a look on his situation as everyone thought he is acting yet again....until the replay shows only we know drogba was 'evaned' serve him right this time as he so like to get into ground so easily..... even Vida can't stand of having a laugh on him....

Overall i'm satisfy with the team performance ytd.... we are getting the momentum back....we just lack of some luck ytd....

and special mention for seeing rooney so selfish for the 1st time.... i know is frustrating he did not make the pass to ando....but i hope he be more greedy and would have a shot on the goal more frequent....

I doubt your says here... i don't see any of wenger youth player is technically worse than ours.... to be frank their youngster do look promising... and that is to judge by the current standard....

So in his position you'd just wait for a man of his size to come and collide into you whilst you're in mid air? From the replay you could see that Drogba was trying to shoulder charge Evans while he was in the air where he was neveer gonna win the ball. What if he landed on his head and broke his neck? Reckless.

Evan did a great job , brown shaky though.

I think the performance is on par , but just lack bit of luck in finishing.
