I'm so damn frustrated.
1) Rooney playing as lone striker. Never works. 2) SAF's decision to not use an early substitute. Others I'm happy. I have no complains. |

I don't care what anyone says to me now.
I'm just piss-ass pissed off at SAF's decision to put Rooney as a lone striker. Valencia's useless because we all know how Rooney operates. He's a defensive forward. |

QUOTE(Spawny @ Nov 9 2009, 01:56 AM) Is because berbatov is injured, saf could had not play 4-4-2 formation, even with owen is on the bench, he is not those strikers like berba, where he can hold the ball, i'm actually not complaining anything about this game, Chelsea is just to strong for us at the moment, we could win them last season because of CR7. but now different case, seems like is a handicap for us right now I admit Chelsea IS strong. But we could have done something.Putting Rooney as lone striker will not work at all. I'm seriously pissed. WHY did SAF start Rooney alone. WHY did SAF delayed the substitution. ARGH. |

QUOTE(whoopa @ Nov 9 2009, 01:58 AM) u guys are happy with this? My point EXACTLYto be honest im not. we just waited around to pass the ball. no urgency to find the goal. rooney as a lone striker u must be shitting me. cos he cant stay on one spot. how the hell is the midfield can help you out where u are everywhere? ROONEY, throughout the season, has never been consistently IN FRONT. He's assisting the wing, the midfield, the defence. He's the most versatile forward ever. He defends for the team. He attacks when needed. BUT when he's busy at the back, and we go on a counter. WHO THE HELL DO WE PASS IT TO? NOBODY. EXACTLY. Giggs could do something, but I doubt he's been asked to go to the middle. Hell, want to supply it to the heads of the players? NOT A CHANCE. Argh. |

God. But at the same time, it's good that SAF deployed 4-5-1. It shows that he managed to tame the midfield.
This formation is kinda giving me mixed feelings. |

QUOTE(Spawny @ Nov 9 2009, 02:01 AM) So now we have an answer, we need to buy another striker, period, if berba is injured, we cant do any real damage, but consider the Chelsea squad and our squad, we didn't lose so badly, please don't make this lose a bad thing. I'm not saying it's bad. We could have done damage. But no progress has been done in front. Only midfield, passing around, which is good. But Rooney alone, haih. |

QUOTE(beck_ken @ Nov 9 2009, 02:04 AM) the formation from start is WRONG: One thing I seriously do not understand at all.1. Rooney as lone striker proven to be an epic fails many times YES 2. Giggs only good against mid table teams now due to his age Not really 3. Obertan should have on early rather than last 10 EXTREME YES Why. Why. Why did SAF waited until the 85th minute to do a bloody substitution. It's like feeding a rabbit's corpse some carrot. There's no point. |

The defenders really proved how good they are today. I'm impressed. O'Shea and Evra. All of them performed.
We lost from a set piece error, so I don't really blame defence. |

QUOTE(sakaito @ Nov 9 2009, 09:15 AM) haloo.... RVP... Cesc... Eduardo? These players were no one until Wenger bought them. Only Arshavin is an established starter/star player. Fact. They were nobodies. RVP bought from feyenoord for 2.7M Cesc brought thru Barca Academy for less than 1M Eduardo.. no one really gave the guy a chance until Wenger. still he cost around 7M. Wenger put hope on these players and they gave back result performances to him. |

QUOTE(nizamhameed @ Nov 10 2009, 12:30 AM) marah betul nampak... rilek ah... next game if we meet lower team we might see chance for obertan... no more. seriously i'm still furious at SAF's decision to delay the substitution. that is one thing that seriously made me furious last night.nak suruh put on Obertan tak nak, then ini bila dah 1-0 down, 5 minutes to go, then you put on Obertan to do a little cameo, hoping that some Man City magic will appear. seriously, please. Obertan already showed his worth and his teamwork with Evra on field against CSKA Moskau. We even saw a glimpse of his skill aginst Ivanovic. Instantly we see Ivanovic got flat-footed, dropped on his buttocks. if SAF does not play Obertan next game, I don't know what's on his mind. seriously. why the hell is Tosic in Man Utd anyway? For the Serbian market, just like Dong, just like Jamban-Jamban, just like *isk* Manucho? |

QUOTE(SImPle PLan @ Nov 10 2009, 01:08 AM) Restore back Rooney to his favorite left winger position. This one is absolute truthness. He is jz not the player to look upon to score goals. 4-5-1 is not a failure formation provided tat 1 is RVN. And I noe tis is past tense. RvN is best suited for the 4-5-1 formation. He's a complete striker, poacher, whatever you call it. He's selfish, he's van da Man. |

QUOTE(~Battousai~ @ Nov 11 2009, 09:52 AM) MANUCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO;_; Also, on another side note, which is very much OT Robert Enke: Germany keeper has died QUOTE Germany and Hannover 96 goalkeeper Robert Enke has died after being hit by a train and German police have confirmed that first indications point to suicide. The 32-year-old died close to his home in Neustadt-Eilvese, Hannover, near a railway level crossing. "First indications point to suicide," a media officer for the Niedersachsen police said. "At 1825 (1725GMT) he was run over by a regional express train running between Hamburg and Bremen," said police spokesman Stefan Wittke. "The train was travelling at the speed of 160-kph." The player's friend and consultant Joerg Neblung told reporters: "I can confirm this is a case of suicide. He took his own life just before six (pm). There will be a press conference tomorrow with more details." Enke won eight international caps and was in the running to play at the World Cup in South Africa next year. However, he missed Germany's last three qualifiers with a stomach virus and having just returned to action after almost two months out was omitted from the latest squad. His national team colleagues learned of the tragic news of his death after training in Bonn on Tuesday and Germany's general manager Oliver Bierhoff said: "We are all shocked. We are lost for words." The president of the German Football Association (DFB) Dr Theo Zwanziger added that he and the rest of the football community in Germany "are deeply distressed and in mourning". "All our sympathy goes to the wife of Robert Enke and his family," he added. It is not yet clear whether Germany's friendly against Chile on Saturday will still go ahead. Die Mannschaft are due face the Ivory Coast the following Wednesday. Hannover president Martin Kind said: "This is a tragedy." Enke, born in Jena in the former East Germany, also played club football for Borussia Moenchengladbach and Benfica and had a brief spell at Barcelona before stints with Fenerbahce and Tenerife. Enke's daughter Lara died in 2006 of a rare heart condition when she was just two. He leaves behind his wife, Teresa, and an eight-month-old daughter the coupled had adopted http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id...=europe&cc=4716 WAOH. HOLY CRAP. QUOTE(IcyDarling @ Nov 11 2009, 08:16 PM) - Just thinking, Obertan is a left winger ryte? So if we can get both or either Silva and/or Ribery, wouldn't Obertan lose his first team position, like even in the bench?? Obertan is versatile. Left, right, forward, he can play. And I saw a little piece of article in the "United eye super six" that made me quite confused. QUOTE In goal, Edwin van der Sar has won back his place easily but was 39 at the end of last month. Ben Foster and Tomasz Kuszczak have not done enough to support their claims as his successor. What has Kuzco done this season? Nothing. Not even twice to prove himself in front of goal. Hmph. |
