I think the number of times you turn on and off your engine does affect FC a lot. Coz I usually travel very short distances, like 10km a day. I see that my FC is very much higher than anyone's car. Driving Savvy btw and I only got 12-13km/l in city no matter how hard I try to save on petrol. Best I got from city drive is 14km/l and I almost lost my mind by driving soooooo conservatively. Still think it's mostly coz of turn on and off the engine.
As for highway, I drove a constant 120km/h (4k RPM) and got almost 17km/l. Imagine if I drove 70-90km/h (2.5k-3k RPM) all the way, think can get a much better reading! haha
