So today when I logged to my account, I saw my bank alt when offline. Then I disconnect after a few minutes. What I been afraid of has come true. My account was hacked after I merged my account with Battle.Net. In my 4 year plus I never get hacked. Anyway anyone here got experience like this and any advide on what to do?

Is this the number for regional support? Taken from this page http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml...articleId=20606
Singapore:1-800-2549-9273
But the operator say the number not in use.

nvm just found out the number.

the "www.blizzard.com/support/wowaa" part looks fake to me,
blizzard surely can buy a good name, rather than just add "aa"

or the "AA" just mean "Account Administration" hmm.gif

the "donotreply@blizzard.com" looks real enough.

basicly when you received the "donotreply@blizzard.com"
is an automated email to let you know that blizzard have received your inquiry
you still have to wait from a real person for a official reply.

and that take 2~3 days since now is friday already.

just don't worry about hacks, blizzard will find it and ingame mail back all/majority of your stuff.
just take time and investigation.

Ya that mail is a fake one after i read in the support forum. And no my password are different between those 2. There was a guildie that been hacked also after he merged his account with Battle.Net.
Took him like almost 1 week to get back his account.

But what I'm really concern is the items and gold that had been sharded or stolen.

I did answer your question smile.gif. Anyway my e-mail (hotmail) and account (battle.net) is 2 different password all together. Haha my gears according to armory are missing must be already sharded/sell, since my druid and paladin are enchanters. Atleast my hunter/warlock still have some gears on them. My Guild bank alts also must be empty sad.gif.

I called Blizzard using this number 1 (800) 592 5499 (1-800-59-BLIZZARD) and after waiting for almost 30min, I hang up. Now I'm waiting for e-mail reply that I send to Billing@Blizzard.com, which should be around next week. Currently I cannot even logged in into the official forum to post my problem.

If you can manage to get on the phone with Blizz themselves, you'd get immediate access back into your account, but all the gear and item restorations would probably take 2 to 3 days, optimistically. If you're gonna go about the whole affair purely via e-mail, be prepared for a long wait, min 1 week max 2 weeks. And then of course another few days for the gear restorations.

I thought that Blizz fix the security weakpoint with the battle.net merge already. Those were the cases that accounts were hacked, merged and password change happens.

Tunn, did you update your Windows, Adobe and Java in the past 2-3 months? There were quite a lot of security updates over that period.

Yes my computer is updated regularly. I only use this desktop for playing game. All other activity is done on my laptop. This happen after I merged which is less then 1 week ago. During that time all I did for my wow account was updated it's mod using curse updater.
*some people already complaint that using this so call updater program is not that safe. They advice that you dll 1 by 1 for your mods is safer.

But anyway I don't feel safe anymore so I'm gonna reformat and reinstall everything. Ohh I have also make a new e-mail for battle.net/wow.

Anyway I'm still waiting for specialist to reply.
