cos the home version currently not using the new MVC-AVC format yet... (and no proper 3D TV/projector owners yet) so when that happens.. it'll be like comparing local cinema (which is quite fuzzy) to 1080p blu-rays on 1080p home projectors...

the specs just got finalized so any thing earlier that is released isn't the official spec I guess..
